He reminds me of one of those winged monkeys from The Wizard of Oz.

They would have to cheat in order to win, so then it becomes how effectively can the Republicans in TX catch it?

A lot of people outside of Texas don't know this but the Lt. Governor in TX has arguably more power than the Governor does. Regardless of who is in the Governor's Mansion in Austin, you get a Democrat as Lt Governor and TX is in trouble.

The day someone can campaign on "Hell yes, we're going to take away your AR-15s" and win the governorship in Texas will not happen in my lifetime.

I think they found her remains in Wyoming near the Tetons today.

And she apparently loves to go on cruises more than she loves you. You need to keep that in mind.

You're actually lucky. You're finding out about her true nature and what she expects from you before you are married and/or have children. Consider that as God's way of sending you a message.

I believe in about 5 years we're going to be using the phrase "Oh, he/she is a COVID vax baby" to explain a lot of things.

Alaska Air? Apparently this passenger missed watching this video before booking her ticket. They really do care about your safety. <rolls eyes>

As an aside, that Air-o-saurus that kicked the woman off the plane looks strangely like one of those dancing lard asses in that promotional video. Coincidence?

There's no reason to pay off your wife's debts that she accrued before you were married. At least get her to sign a pre-nup if you're going to do that.

I heard on FoxNews yesterday that they got on a boat to Brazil, then walked from Brazil to Del Rio.

Dunno if that's true, but if it is, they should be in pretty good shape to continue walking to Canada.

Thats because that cross-aisle compromising bullshit only happens in one direction in this country. Today, the GOP doesn't need compromises- we need warriors that will stand up for our ideals and say, "NO! We aren't going along with that shit anymore!"

The people of the America that I know and love are tired of this shit and we're sending reps to DC to kick some ass and put and end to it. And quite frankly, we actually like the term "deplorable" and proudly wear it like a badge. Just watch what happens in 2022.

The teachers union is very strong, and while these teachers may be removed from the classroom they rarely lose their jobs. Some just get paid to sit in an empty classroom and grade papers, or are on paid leave pending the outcome of a year-long+ investigation.

So while the FDA panel voted 16-2 to not recommend approval of the booster for the general public, they voted unanimously to allow giving the booster to older folks and those that have compromised immune systems.

Since the booster is basically the same formula as the vaccine, what they are in effect telling us is that the vaccine probably should have also been restricted to those people most vulnerable to the disease and not given to everyone.

Does this assumption make sense?

If that's the case, the reputation of that paper as a valid news source should be zero, and yet the NYT and the WP are touted as the most reputable news sources in this country, albeit quite biased. It's one thing to be biased, but quite another to be liars.

I want to be serious for one moment here.... How in the hell does this sort of mistake even happen? I can't believe this was a typo. It had to be intentional, right?

Someone should be canned over this. Who wrote that original article in the NYT? I want to check again to see if they are still employed there in a month.
