There's no way this is real. This is a fake. It...has to be.

They didn't fail. This is testing. They got their data and they'll improve the landing process. Since they did get the data, it was a success!

Ok, instead of attacking me and offering pointless criticism, can you explain how the concept is flawed? I'm also not "wanting to argue". I'm having a conversation. You also don't know who you're talking too. Feel free to shoot me an email and introduce yourself.

All I am saying it is the wrong approach to win.

What's the correct approach to win?

These campaigns need money and flawless execution. You cannot do that pro Bono you will fail and bring your candidates down with you.

Once again, you don't understand what I'm offering. Let me quote myself:

"What I'm doing is freeing up time and resources of the candidate. They won't have to try and find someone to create a brand, logo, site, social media posts etc. etc. They can take the saved resources and time and use those on other opportunities."

Please explain, how someone running for a state rep or local city council position will be brought down and lose because they didn't have to pay for a website and brand.

Look, I'm not offering to fully manage someone's campaign. I'm not offering to head up the digital strategy for a hotly contested US senate seat. I've already explained what I'm doing. If you're not going to provide actionable helpful info than feel free to end the discussion.

Yep, I've got his number and planning on calling him this week. Thanks for the rec!

Totally understandable! I'll keep posting updates here. Once things are a little more official, you can help out or just cheer from the sidelines.

  1. You clearly didn't read the post or the original post like you claim. Or your reading comprehension needs help.
  2. You offered criticism with zero intent of helping. Your criticism was criticism for criticism's sake. No one takes that well. Especially people who are giving up their time and money to help make YOUR life better.
  3. You never answered my question. Instead you just resorted to more criticism. So, I'll ask again. What are you doing other than wasting time criticizing people who are trying to help the country?
  4. I'm not arrogant, but when someone comes at me, and by extension (and more importantly) a double digit list of volunteers ready to give up their time for a greater cause, I get quite defensive. Instead of attacking the people trying help why don't you actually do something constructive?
  5. You're either a democrat or really bitter from a hard life. Either way, I'm sorry for your circumstances.

His current site is on Wordpress with no extra security

Why does it need extra security Mr. L33t haxor man? Once the ball starts rolling and the full site launches obviously there will be more security measures put in place. A simple landing page with a email opt-in form generating next to no traffic doesn't need advanced security.

registered with a Canadian company.

Cool, you can do a whois. Great job. Not my domain registrar though.

If he has his own server, ok.

Never said I did.

if it is rented by AWS and others he could be turned off.

Yep, just like anything. Epik could pull the plug on patriots.win. That's the risk we face. Using logic, one can conclude that a hosting company wouldn't wipe out the server of a state or local candidate solely because they are conservative. If they do, we adept, move on, learn, and grow.

Also, it is probably quasi illegal to donate this type of service.

It's actually not but I'm currently looking into this. Did you read the part where I said, "First, I need to talk to someone who is a lawyer or who knows campaign/political law very well." I don't guess you did.

Wait until Democrat lawyers chew him and up spit him out.

Good, bring it on.

There is no way this should be done for free.

It depends on what aspect is free.

It will fail.

Hey pal, go screw yourself. What are you doing? Trashing people online who are actually trying to make a change while you hide behind a computer screen? Wow, what a tough guy.

On the other hand building a team and sustainable business model makes much more sense.

Who said that's not what I'm doing, Einstein

Getting a free Wordpress site without hardened server This is far far more than that.

Most state and local candidates have crap sites. A well designed site optimized for SEO, including pages targeting their opponents, will be a nice boost. Imagine my name is Bob and I'm running against Mike. Mike is a dick so I have a page on my site discussing all of the ways Mike is a Dick. When someone googles Mike's name they will see the page on my site talking about how Mike is a dick.

That's not the main issue though. What I'm doing is freeing up time and resources of the candidate. They won't have to try and find someone to create a brand, logo, site, social media posts etc. etc. They can take the saved resources and time and use those on other opportunities.

I tried to but haven't heard back. To be very fair, he is extremely busy and the work he's doing is too important to take time away from. Really appreciate the recommendation though!

Generally speaking, yes. In this case? Absolutely not. This is a black swan event my friend.

Gaetz really just rips Al Sharpton a new one here. I was actually watching this earlier and laughed through most of it.

There’s honestly not that much there in terms of economy, but it’s my favorite location in Texas. Palo Duro canyon is up there too if you’re into biking, camping, hiking etc. etc.

Lots of great people in that area. Dallas county is the only overwhelmingly blue county in dfw. It’s spreading like a virus though. That’s why immigration is a big focus of the Harris admin. If Texas doesn’t do something soon it will be blue in 2024.

The panhandle of Texas has seasons. Hot in the summer, fall leaves with cool weather, and winter storms that can drop 8 inches of snow.
