Another critical fact: General Macarthur was going to destroy the key bridge the Chinese needed to get into North Korea. That would have prevented the Chinese from invading, and Macarthur would have been able to eliminate the communists from North Korea easily. TRUMAN BLOCKED MACARTHUR AND WOULD NOT ALLOW HIM TO DESTROY THE BRIDGE!! The rest is tragic history.
