Rock on! My old man stays on the 1800-0600 shift and they aren't stingy with the OT there. Always told him if I didn't love what I do, I'd be right there with him!
Consistency is key for those night shifts, I think. It's the swinging that takes some getting used to. Luckily, it's been less of that this year than most!
They're giving us tomorrow off, but paying us our eight anyways. Pair that with the four hrs of double time, sixteen hours of straight and two holiday paid days and I'm glad to swing though haha
We have fun for sure! Just is tough when you're swinging and that's typically the case for us when we get sent on overnights. Working six 0600-1600 shifts for a month straight followed by a week straight of 1800-0600 definitely takes it's toll!
