I put my foot down and openly said nope, it's self defense and all the objective evidence pointed that way during the trial too. They were pretty mad, but I knew every fucking fact of the Trayvon case, and they knew they would get embarrassed if they tried to argue details.
This is the goal. They want to make people angry enough to get violent in response to their clear fuckery. Make a scene. Demand change, but don't get violent. It lets them perpetuate their victim game.
