Pompeo's statement to the press over a month ago about how he's confident Trump will have a second term gave me hope. Obviously that hope has pretty much dwindled to nothing, but it still baffles my mind how confident he sounded then.

My mom (big Trump supporter but doesn't use this site) has given up on Trump getting a second term after the Supreme Court thing. I can't exactly fault her for giving up, BUT I still hope we can take this back and restore some faith in our election process.
