Max Keiser, more of an investor than someone who knows the technology. Still smart tho, but I disagree about his statement on going all in on Bitcoin. There are other coins with other properties that does serve a purpose.
$3T was minted in 2020 right? Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies has a cap of 21 000 000 coins, more than that can never exist. People lose their keys, less is sold on exchanges etc etc..
If it continues like this, then yes, the valuation in USD will keep rising to insane levels. Tho you might not actually get richer in purchasing power, but at least you won't loose your purchasing power due to hyper inflation in the dollar.
Perhaps in the long term, but that's a 100% increase in value. Monero and some of the other alts still has a long way to go before breaking their old ATH, hence with Monero you have a chance of 1000% gains.
Same thing if we see a massive crash again soon that passes over a few months or years, then Bitcoin will be the one falling the most.
The only thing we know for sure is that fiat is a guaranteed loss.
China mines only 2% of Ethereum, most of the mining takes place in Europe and America. You need to control at least 51% of the network to fuck around, and even then there's not really much you can do.
Perhaps, after all it's been around for about as long as Monero, tho it's not as secure or privacy friendly but has some other advantages in terms of scaling if remember right.
It's the question we're all wondering about. You're right about privacy focused coins tho, anything that has a need in the future will certainly increase in value over time. Right now with all the censorship Ethereum and ERC20 tokens is pretty good to hold.
Privacy coins like Monero hasn't increased much yet but I'm sure they will once governments around the world becomes more tyrannic and the black market grows.
As for the ledger and other hardware wallets, I doubt they much more secure than a well maintained Linux machine which only runs open source software and no spyware. I stick mostly to hot wallets for convenience, and spread my portfolio over many of them.
One day or another I expect to lose some of the keys or get some keys exposed, so it's probably best to just spread the risk and don't put all eggs in the same basked. I mean back in the days with cash I used to hide cash everywhere, and when the banks came I had accounts in many different banks, just to spread the risks.
I lived in one many years ago, still having nightmares about waking up there and owning essentially nothing. To be fair, it wasn't horrible living conditions but you where extremely dependent on the government to survive.
It's that creepy feeling that the government any second can push a button and bam, you're dead within hours, that bothers me the most. That feeling of not being in control over your own life.
Well there's a reason the whole crypto community goes "not your keys, not your coins". People have been brainwashed since birth into thinking the banks are somehow legit. Even tho we've already seen exactly how they prevent people from accessing what's supposed to be their own money.
First they came for the "far right" and the "nazis" and nobody stood up. Now they're going after people who where at DC on Jan 6th, it's the sad truth, people who where in DC getting their bank accounts shut down and their money confiscated.
I'm glad I switched to crypto years ago, what the hell do I need banks for anyway? Exchanges provide all the legacy protocols such as SEPA or credit/debit cards for a small fee, no questions asked.
There's DAI which is tied to the USD by smart contracts which also provide around 5% yearly interest, low fee trading between coins so that you can easily increase your DAI holdings. All tax free, because the government can't track these funds anyway.
And with the historical long term gains of crypto, who need loans anyway. In a few years you have enough money to buy a house in a nice neighborhood, with cash.
Yea, this is the propaganda picture they use to sell the concept. In reality we all know these containers will be stacked on top of each others, no private outdoor space and inside will be very compact, bed hidden in the wall, one bathroom and kitchen you share with everyone on your floor.
And since cars are banned there won't be any empty space between the containers, not even parks because "due to the virus" nobody is allowed to go outside anyway. So containers 9 feet apart, leaving a narrow road between for delivery workers and robots.
Big windows and no curtains, but not for you to enjoy the view, not that it will be much of a view anyway, but so that your neighbors can watch you all the time and report you for a commission.
Fun fact, they already built student apartments like that in Europe, no sound isolation and mold between the containers. There's all kinds of issues, even tho they did all they could to build a commie block out of containers that isn't as bad as your average Russian commie block.
The whole system is rigged, that $1.9bn fine is just a fraction of what they made from laundering all the drug money. They're making a shitload of money out of this.
Meanwhile if an old lady shows up with her $1000 cash in life savings the bank says no, because if her money happens to be drug money the fines will be millions.
See how this works? This is why cryptocurrency is needed, get rid of the corrupt middlemen while still having secure digital money transfers to anyone at any time and no damn censorship or mass surveillance.
It takes a special kind of mental illness to yell at others to "trust the science", and then threaten to kill scientists who proves something that goes against the narrative.
Yep, laws are only for Christians.
Or shower heads that can spray both hot water and gas, without leaving any trace of the poisonous gas in the water.
Or rooms with a simple wooden door and windows capable of keeping poisonous gas sealed long enough to kill everyone inside. (Yes it takes long time to die from cyklon-b, the delousing substance they used).
Or one of my favorite when it comes to German engineering. Wireless transfer of poisonous gas. Look it up whenever visiting the camps, cyklon-b comes in fast shape and needs to be heated in order to transform into gas, but the machine capable of doing so is in another building, and there's no pipes between that machine and the building where the showers are.
Every country had prison camps where enemies of the state where locked up during the war. Soviet had Gulags (no showers and no food), America had camps for the Japanese, (food but no showers). Out of all prison camps the German camps had the best living conditions, in fact even better than Biden's "overflow facilities".
Except for the end of the war where supplies couldn't be delivered and Typhus found it's way in. In some camps the SS soldiers even shared their last food with the prisoners, only to get executed without trial later, all to cover up the lie.
Exactly, and one of the most common argument from normies are "if it happened media would have reported about it". They still live in a world where media makes money from exposing the truth, without political agenda.
It's like a fat frog with flies around who eats them one by one, yet the flies keep circulating around the frog, close enough for the frog to get them.
I once read a good book about heat in a Swedish sauna.
That reminds me, during next election make sure to have people on guard outside every building where they count, both front and back, day and night. Be armed and inspect every delivery, fake ballots arriving at 2am needs to be exposed like this.
This is why they take control over media and big tech first. One day or another one of these vans will crash and all the pre filled ballots are gonna fly out, exposing the fraud in a way nobody can miss. Any fraud of this scale is doomed to have many fuck ups where it's exposed.
By controlling media, big tech, using fact checkers etc etc they can quickly cover all this up and prevent people from spreading it. Thy lose a few people to alt media which they already banned and branded as conspiracy nuts and stuff like that.
Proprietary voting machines that's been proven to rig elections in other countries is an even bigger scam.
Apparently it's a battery pack and not a diesel generator, not sure what difference that makes in terms of charging time. But one thing is sure, they're gonna have to deal with the same types of issues as with any charging infrastructure.
Best case scenario 1-2 hours, assuming the battery package holds enough power, otherwise they're gonna need another van.
Here's another truth, every single bad thing the left accuse the opposition of. Every single thing, the left is guilty of doing themselves, but worse.
I'm surprised they didn't try to block the sun with Bill Gates ego, swedes are known for taking stuff literally. Just tie him to a rocket and send it up in the sky, see what happens.
And test all the shit he used against others on him. Start with the vaccines.
Blame frozen wind turbines and Sleepy Joe. They trow the green new deal PO in front of Biden which he signed (like everything they throw at him), which means Texas now have to ask for permission to fire up the gas, coal and oil plants which are needed as base for the grid.
They didn't grant permissions to start those even tho they knew there wasn't gonna be enough energy. That's the first problem.
Secondly, wind turbines froze. So what's the deal about wind turbines then? well it started already with Obama who worked hard to replace much of the oil and gas in Texas with wind energy, which is very inefficient.
Solar panels couldn't save the situation, but they deserve no blame as they still work during winter, just not as efficient as during summer. They should be used in small scale and not on massive solar farms.
Keep in mind, the same shit will happen next year again in Texas, be prepared for the cold, and don't rely on electricity from the grid. Heating homes use about 10x more energy than all the household machines you use during a normal day, and that's in a mid sized well isolated house.
Makes sense, because Gates couldn't produce any working software either.
