Kirklands (Costco)brand olive oil tests to be actually pure. There are however some brands that are garbage. There was a study done on this about a dozen years ago that been used to make a modern urban legend about olive oil and its purity. Much like what happened with honey.
While there are some unrepeatable brands being sold, there is also high quality pure olive oil available and it’s not hard to find or expensive.

It matters very much. Under the current leftist push we will lose men and women in combat due to women’s physical deficiencies. They are already in the military in non combat mos’s. Their push is to put them on the front lines.

Some women is a strange way to say a small fraction. Fact is, in the military, men are in peak physical condition for the most part. And those that aren’t are still more capable than 99.9% of women in the military.
The small number that can physically perform with men only do so at the lowest level available. There are MOS’s that women can do. But to pretend they are combat capable is asinine. They aren’t even capable of dragging a toolbox out to an aircraft in the hangar let alone on the ramp. If they cannot get it there, how in the duck is she going to carry it up a ladder or just set it up on top of the wing to do work on top of the aircraft. God forbid the hooker gets pregnant. Now you have spent money and time training a team member who is out of the picture and has to be replaced by another body who will require training. It damages troop readiness and capability while costing more money.

I still keep a bird dog but I don’t dove hunt. We have sparse quail where I am, but they are starting to populate. Lots of predators to ground nesting birds here.

Also, the weather and seasons, the smell of the cold Kansas air. All of that rolled up with chasing really fast birds while frozen to the core is the therapeutic part.

I left Texas for Florida (Texas/ Kansas are my home states. Florida is my wife’s) if I ever leave Florida it will be for kicking around in the rich soil of Kansas again. There are things that can only be cured with a over under and a good bird dog. Florida nor Texas offer that cure.
