No problems Brother, one of the greatest experiences of my life has been spending time with the older Veterans through the charity & personally the time me & my Vietnam War Vet Uncle have spent together building our Custom guns, from brain storming gun builds with a whisky & Cigar over a fire at family BBQ's & then building our own Specs custom guns in his workshop has bonded us as nothing else could & then hunting/shooting together w ,the first thing l did when l got in phone range was to ring my Uncle & share my pride & joy in pulling off that long shot with a rifle he helped me build . He has shared stuff with me & me with him we have spoken to no one else & that's the way it should be,my dad jokes l am closer to his brother now than he is.
Never forget you are not alone, us Vets will always have your back.
Or it never existed in the first place.
No problems if you ever need any help just ask ,if l can help l will.Good luck on your life journey
That's no problem at all, I lost guys a few steps away, so know the emotional struggle .I help at a private Veterans Charity for Vets in crisis, so have seen a lot of the emotional damage suffered by many, take each day as it comes buddy that is all you can do & reach out if you ever need a hand, if l can help l will.
Every one should watch this documentary, shortly after the Paris Bataclan theatre massacre & Terror attacks a young Muslim journalist went under cover to infiltrate a jihadist terror cell that was openly posting on Telegram.
He found himself in the end stages of planning a rolling series of terror attacks on Paris & the US culminating in downing a American based Airliner over the Paris suburbs using a Stinger Missile smuggled out by ISIS from Syria .He exposed how many of the terrorists were already on Terror lists & some even wore ankle monitors to supposively keep track of them ,mosques, woman etc were all exposed helping them.
He only stopped when the Arms actually started arriving & they were 4 days out from dropping the Airliner.
Description of documentary-
"With a tiny hidden camera, I am going to try to show what happens ... to show what is really going on in their heads."
For six months this intrepid reporter infiltrated and secretly filmed a terrorist cell as they made plans for an attack.
"You won't see my face. You won't hear my real voice...I am a Muslim and a journalist. I can go to places that my colleagues can't."
Deep undercover, posing as a fellow follower of ISIS, he joined this group of young men who called themselves "Soldiers of Allah" and he captured it all on camera.
"I have to be careful, one mistake and I'll be found out."
Meeting in parks and fast food restaurants, they declare their hatred for anyone failing to follow their version of Islam, especially other less fanatical Muslims.
"I want to throw myself upon the infidels. I want to kill them and I want to die afterwards. I want Allah to make me a martyr."Oussama
The group sets about turning those words into action. Using guidance from an ISIS handler recently returned from Syria, they start sourcing weapons and drawing up a list of targets. The priorities: military bases and television broadcasters.
"Blood needs to run. It needs to run a lot. They have to die in their thousands." Oussama
This extraordinary film from France takes you deep inside the minds of these angry young men who have little understanding of the religion they claim to fight for.
As the planning escalates, the undercover reporter finds himself sent to rendezvous points where messages are passed hand to hand with chilling instructions to prepare for a suicide mission.
The authorities swoop and he cuts off contact, but not without one last communication from the group.
"After six months of infiltrating the group, I received a message that made the consequences clear, "you're dead".
This film starkly exposes the challenge facing authorities the world over: How to combat the threat posed by young men determined to wreak violence.
Soldiers Of Allah
There was a Lefty documentary done by a UK film crew a couple of years ago that was supposed to be a sob story on how bad the poor illegal immigrants had it & followed them all the way from the ME to their illegal smuggling into the EU.
When you watched it with a open mind ,the illegal scumbags were paying large sums IN GOLD to people smugglers to get to the EU,they were terrified they would be forced to stay in countries like Poland where they were not given huge pay outs & had to assimilate .
ALL of them wanted to get to France & the UK to run amok & get free money. They would then have to pay $8000 to get smuggled into the UK as they were allowed to do as they pleased, where did all that money come from l wonder??
The best thing IMO you can do is what l would tell my then girl friend & close friends & family & that is we all volunteered & knew the risks ,(IMO one of the great things about our Military is it is a Volunteer force like no other) & if anything was to happen to me l wanted them to live their best life & enjoy to the full the freedoms our great Land offers & if they can contribute to making sure our great country does not lose those freedoms that is all anyone could ask of them .
What most civilians do not realize is when we were in combat in Iraq & Afghanistan we were not fighting for America, we were fighting for our Battle Buddy's either side of us in the heat of combat,it did not matter what race, color rich or poor , where they were from or what they did in their bedroom between consenting adults & one of the things that pressed us on in even the darkest times of battle was we were fighting & killing the ultimate drug fucked bully scumbags, that prided themselves in among other things murdering & committing heinous crimes against the weak & were proud Pedophiles.
We had this scrawled on the wall of our COP in the Afghanistan Badlands that was only a couple of Valley's & within our patrols of where they dropped the MOAB. that pretty much sums up our motives & thoughts on combat -
"And I heard the voice of the LORD, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I; send me!" - Isaiah 6:8 -
And where we had our "Good Luck knock post" at the Patrol Gate & last thing you touched going out & first on the way in. - " Damnation seize my soul if I give you quarters, or take any from you"… Edward “Blackbeard” Teach,
Next time l am having a drink at a hunting camp fire l will raise a glass to your friend
Army Spc. Donald S. Oaks Jr. Ride On You Glorious Bastard Ride On. RIP
That 338 E build was cheaper than a lot of off the shelf guns exactly why l wanted to try building one to start with. The rifle is based off a standard Remington 700 Long Action so all the parts are off the shelf bits & pieces all we did was put in the time .My Uncle & l built the rifle ourselves to my specs ,my Uncle Burt has a fully equipped work shop, who is renowned for his accurising work on the Rem 700 action,so we have Custom built our own rifles for decades, all the gun smithing /metal work was done by me & my uncle to our own Specs on basically all the rifles l hunt with
This was Custom built using a Rem 700 action Trued & Blue Printed, 26" Lilja Air Gauged Fluted Barrel & Custom Barrel break,, worked timney trigger -Hunters Edge Pillar Bedded Stock - LEICA GEOVID 10x42 HD-B 3000 Binoculars which the same ballistics out to 800m after that you need a APP or a Kestrel ballistics meter. The Kestrel 5700 Elite gave me a 28 MOA hold and 1.4 MOA hold for wind, NightForce Advanced tactical Rifle Scope (ATACR) F1 4-16x42 Scope .
The rfle was $2100 to build including everything with out the scope,as l already had a lot of the gear laying around & the action is off my old 338 Magnum. The Scope l brought as a shop demo unit & was $1500 but the thing you have to remember with optics is they are really a example of buy once, cry once . That scope is fully life time covered so la can swap & use it on another 20 guns over my life time, the way QD scope mounts are now you can have a dial up scope & swap out turrets & use it on multiple rifles right now.
When you take into account the rifle out performs the Military's 338 Lapua Magnum sniper systems that cost over $10K & was the whole purpose of trying to build it .This is the Weapons System the Military should have gone with.
The Ballistics /Weather meter are a essential tool as a Hunting Guide for Long Range hunting & was just under a $1000 ,but again is used with multiple guns .The Range Finding LEICA GEOVID 10x42 HD-B 3000 Binoculars are actually the most expensive bit of Kit there but again essential for working as a Hunting Guide around the world on every thing from blizzard swept Alpine Mountains to Desert plains. They were just over $4000 they are a amazing bit o Kit giving real time range & custom Ballistic read outs as you watch the target game animal.
You have got your head screwed on right ,now for you is exactly when you should start seriously planning where your long term move will be. I was actually late as l served in Iraq & Afghanistan & then did a couple of years as a Contractor all around the shit holes of the world so l could make bank & set our Ranch up.
There are a lot of the Silicon Valley moguls moving here now so many are tipping Montana will be a leader in that in years to come ,but a lot of the young guys doing really well for themselves are working in the Oil & Gas as a lot of the Ranch bred guys already had extensive experience working on & driving Heavy equipment these guys are pulling big bucks & a lot only work 8 months a year
Those are all full custom builds my Vietnam War Veteran Uncle, (who was a Armourer with the Army Marksmanship Unit) & me have done & call Burt-day Builds .One each year built to our own Custom Specs for our "Burtdays". Years of Great memories of making great guns with my Uncle
I have a soft spot for the 7.62 as I served in Iraq & Afghanistan & did 2 tours as a Designated Marksmen so have a bit of first hand knowledge of what works & what does not against 2 legged critters & got to use a lot of different Kit,the best weapon system l used IMO was the M110 Semi Automatic Sniper System (M110 SASS) by Knight's Armament Company (KAC) &saw first hand what a 7.62 did against a 556 to 2 legged critters & although l had a range of options to use, they could not pry my M110 off me
Left to right, 338 Lapua Magnum, 300 grain Sierra Matchking, 308 Winchester, 175 grain Sierra Matchking, 223 Remington, and 62 grain M855 projectile.
That Custom 338 Edg is one of the greatest rounds l have ever used. l wish l had had one as a SDM in Afghanistan,it is one of the greatest performing cartridges l have ever seen in the field & out performs the 338 Lapua Magnum in a far lighter & more usable package .This rifle is phenomenally accurate my favorite hand load l use for hunting shoots 338E -285gr ELD-M 's , doing 2900fps into under 3/4 MOA &they hit like sledge hammers in the field with large game like Cape Buff,Elk,Bear,Kudu etc & it bucks the wind like no other round l have used -
They are just getting a foot hold here now ,that is why there is a big push to put hunting pressure on them.
This old Montana Mountain Boar had been hunted by different crews for over 2 years after it killed a Ranchers Shepard dog & had killed lambs & smashed up crops .Using his cunning he was living in a heavily wooded/brush Mountain range during the day & raiding the farms at night,we had tracked him on 2 previous hunts & worked out his home turf, but being cunning he was set up so the winds in the Mountain drifted any scent up to his lair & he was long gone in the steep, brush covered terrain before anyone could get close.
Previous trip l planned out a area on the opposing Mountain face l could set up my favorite Long Range rifle a Custom 338 E we built, that through basically out performing the .338 Lapua Magnum, with hunting weight bullets up to 300grn, in a lighter & more efficient package, has been my go to Long Range Hunting rig for 4 years now.
I love the FAL's
Here is a Pic of my FAL Para (Folding Stock )-

Love the old Mausers too, that is what the 458 LOTT we built action was,the guy was a genius.
Here are some of my AR builds we have done over the years
Yeh Montana high country & you are right on the Bears .
Like l say we had both traveled extensively & put a lot of thought into where we would settle before choosing here. When l got out of the Military l was actually being pressured into moving & working out of Texas but even then the larger cities were Libtard central & we both said a big no .
The main thing l like is we still have a bit of the Old West common sense ie good carry,self/property defense etc as a example I am lucky to have a 1600 yard range l built,my Ranch Homestead is smack in the middle of our 380 Acres, with a 40 yr lease off another Uncle on the surrounding 1800 Ac. l do a lot of Long Range hunting so it is regularly used with everything up to my 338 Lapua Magnums.
We are lucky in States like Montana we have a formal rural property code which are referred to as the "Code of the West", a caution adopted by a number of western counties. The Code warns newcomers wishing to locate in rural areas of the county not to assume that their rural road will be plowed immediately after every snowfall, that a farmer's field treatments may raise dust that will drift across the property line, that a rancher's cows may moo on the other side of the property-line fence all night, that if there is an emergency it may take an ambulance, fire truck or sheriff's deputy a while to respond, that rural areas may be subject to uncontrollable wildfires, and more.
Basically, the Code declares, people living in rural areas are and must be more independent, self-regulating and tolerant of local practices and customs than their city-dwelling cousins.
Just a couple of weeks back we finished building my Uncles new Custom 338 Lapua Magnum & my Custom 458 Lott,we had 4 of the local police come out & shoot them & a selection of other guns out to 1600 yards on my Range ,in most places they would be trying to shut you down.
Like every where we are seeing the Libtard creep from the cities they have destroyed ,but that has been going on for decades ,but really hit high gear when David Letterman brought his Ranch ranch near Choteau & then went on every TV show & magazine to get them to pay for his upgrades.I was just saying to my wife a couple of weeks ago l suppose we are just a couple of decades behind the likes of Texas & Cali etc in reality.
I m really glad that 90% of the time l have no idea who they are talking about, the fascination some have with basic D list no bodies is amazing.
I have not got time ,but if you look up Charlie Hebdo cartoons they will not only have the cartoon he got beheaded for (which is a bit lame anyway) ,but there was a great series of cartoons from around the world calling these scumbags out, when they did the original attack
Someone with the time also needs to investigate how that douche bag Macron just came out a few days ago basically reversing his stance on letting them take over & stopping them home schooling, as they were brain washing the kids .Was the government warned a attack was about to happen ,were there threats on schools because they were being forced too\ go?
Unfortunately this Chyna Flu BS means we have bookings up to our necks & travel logistic nightmares every where, so we will be have full books for a couple of seasons by the looks as everyone is in a panic to get their bucket list hunts filled.
But if you are ever planning of getting up this way ,give me plenty of warning, l get as much thrill out of helping others have a successful hunt & maybe imparting a bit of helpful hunting etc knowledge as much as anything now & l love hunting that much even when l get back from a Guiding trip l normally head out to hunt to clear my head .
We also have a1600 yard range & 5 stand on the Ranch l built & l am a Military/private trained firearms instructor & coach ,so always find a excuse to get some lead down a barrel ,so if l have some down time when you are heading up we could find something to do,l always try to encourage more people enjoying & up skilling their shooting.
I am a sucker for the Big 45' smoke poles my favorite dangerous game caliber is the 458 LOTT & we just finished build my Custom one & l have a Gun Dealer that really looks after us for over a decade now as we go through a bit of gear Outfitting/Guiding & a few months back at the height of Chyna Flu BS he had a guy desperate to get a black gun & wanted what ever he could get for his 45/70 lever .The dealer did not want it thought l might want it as it was a steal & knew l would not mess him around so this is it.
Same dealer offered a bargain price on a new Store Blemished Ruger American 450 Bushmaster , (external surface rust on the barrel) so got the stamps & cut & threaded at 12 inches for a Suppressor. Built my version of what l call the Montana Ranch De Lisle Carbine, now for some Sub hand loads.
We just finished the build of my Custom 458 LOTT,one of my all time favorite calibers & the 4th one l have owned.
Custom 458 LOTT
Thanks my Uncle & l built the rifle ourselves to my specs ,I am lucky to have a Vietnam War Veteran Uncle, (who was a Armourer with the Army Marksmanship Unit) who has a fully equipped work shop, who is renowned for his accurising work on the Rem 700 action,so we have Custom built our own rifles for decades, all the gun smithing /metal work was done by me & my uncle to our own Specs on basically all the rifles l hunt with

Drunken, Old Hag, Pelosi lied that she feeds the poor .Here is what really feeding the poor looks like ,we are Ranchers & Hunters , our family has fed the poor every Xmas since 1948, real food made from Game we Hunt & Cook , this will help feed 20+ families
This Wild Mountain Hog has been hard hunted for years & spent his time in a remote Mountain top during the day,no one could get close to him due to the steep Brush choked terrain & the mountain breeze carrying any scent to him .so he was long gone before anyone got close .
I took him with the longest shot of my Military & Hunting life in the field 1235 yards .I was only able to do that after extended time building my skills & shooting steel out to 1600 yards with the Custom Rifle l built myself in 338E+P
Here is just some of meals he will provide ,we will also make a large amount of Venison/pork hamburgers & sausages from the trimmings so l estimate 20-26 families will have food on their plates .

Not normally, we are very lucky & have a loyal clientele so have a full book most years ,but if you are ever heading this way let me know .l get as much thrill out of helping others have a successful hunt & maybe imparting a bit of helpful hunting etc knowledge as much as anything now .
The trouble is as soon as this Chyna Flu BS is over & international travel gets back to normal we have a huge back log of international hunts as everyone wants to do their Bucket list hunt,no way l am flying anywhere you have to keep a fucking mask on though.
Op you should print it out & put it in a frame for your Gran Pa
No Wild Hog is a hugely sought after product worth millions in Europe, where it is highly sought after for the making of Salamis etc. etc. Back when Chernobyl happened they were sending something like $50 million a year worth to the EU. Back at the end of the 90's l went & did 2 seasons as a Helicopter shooter in Australia ,where guys were still becoming Millionaires supplying the Wild Hogs to chillers for the Eu Market .
The winds spread the radioactive contamination from Chernobyl over the EU forests where they sourced the Wild Hogs for their markets .Australia being so remote & 'clean' & with more Wild Hogs than people by a factor of 2 stepped up & made bank supplying them .I was really lucky as l was asked to go partners in a helicopter operation & while we tossing it over the market collapsed because some greedy idiot tried to run improperly refrigerated carcasses through the supply chain . The market crashed within months & by then the EU authorities had approved game to come out of areas they had tested ,the price of Wild Pork went up 600%.
Like any animal, even farm raised, as long as you properly chill/butcher & inspect a Wild Hogs Carcass it is a really good meat. We here in America should be exporting Wild Hog now as many do not realize there is a huge threat to even our farmed Pork from another virus China has let loose on the world,African swine fever that in China alone has wiped out 40% of Chinas 440 million pigs, if it reaches here we are going to have a huge problem in our Agricultural sector.
Here being a Rancher & Guide l do a bit of reading on things city folks probably did not know existed ,like l say l have been thinking of opportunities here for developing a export Wild Hog business model .
Just a while ago was reading this article on it looking like the Australians were going to try it again,so l saved it ,you may find it interesting -
Is reviving wild boar industry part of feral pig solution?
"I'm especially interested in understanding any commercial opportunities to help better control the feral pig population in Australia, which is estimated to be up to 24 million head,"
I am a Cattle Rancher & Elk for me is just a bit stronger in flavor than beef,so you can use it for most recipes you would have Beef l really like it in Old School Ranch Casseroles & Elk Stroganoff ,spaghetti ground meat & it makes a fantastic Ham ,that makes a great sandwich meat .
In all honesty our family probably eats 70% game meat during the year as l am lucky as a hunting guide to get some prime animals from around the world & we have now set up a proper butchering/Walk in Chiller & prep area on our Ranch that photo of the Boar is in front of my walk in chiller.
Elk smoked Ham with walnut ,honey & apple, all off the Ranch
No doubt they do but it was never used to sieve the emails, it was run through a program designed for the Telegram messaging system & a low level intern rubber stamped as checked what the system spat out .
Those ex NSA guys did a 2 hour stream on it being impossible with the systems used, wrong method, wrong system, wrong intelligence agency to do it,impossible for them to have achieved 1/4 of the rate they claimed even with the proper systems in place. The White House knows this they presented a paper in the Oval office on it .
