I had some whooping cough years ago that lasted about that long. Coughed so much one of my ribs eventually popped and made me curl up in the fetal position with my face pale white in pain. Definitely on my top 10 list for most painful moments lol
I know a few people who have had it. All recovered on their own at home. Some had cold symptoms, one had flu like symptoms, and a couple had no symptoms. Note, all were under 50, so thats kind of to be expected.
