Yea, I think it's always worth trying to talk to people. Jesus tell us to be patient and keep love in our hearts for everyone... and that's sometimes really hard. At the same time, we've also gotta be willing to stand up against evil and fight for what we know is right... and that's also really hard. It's a balance I'm still trying to get the hang of :-) .

Some of the 'nicer' ones will do mental gymnastics to explain it all away ("Even though you wear dresses and makeup all the time, have gone by female pronouns and name for years, and have bows tattooed on your thighs you aren't really trans!"). The more honest ones will just laugh in your face and admit that they don't really believe any of that BS and are just using the narrative to get personal power.
