So you are saying, do not attend and submit an IG complaint?

One of my co-workers was helping set up the projector and shit and got a preview of it. He caught a bit of it while they were testing the screen and apparently, it's skirting the line of CRT - it's not saying white people are evil, etc., but it is saying shit like systemic racism exists.

I know you're not a lawyer, but to the best of your knowledge if I attended and recorded, without announcing my intent to record (should that spook them into dialing it back into normal Equal Opportunity levels), will that be held against me?

US Marshals and deputies are essentially federal sheriffs.

So a bit of both, if your county or town or whatever sheriff still goes out and executes federal arrest warrants and shit.

"women don't like to fight"

Yet I'm willing to bet this guy would have no problem talking about there not being any psychological or physiological differences between the sexes. Which he probably also claims there's infinite of.

Yeah, I was about to say... I've seen this infographic before, and it was debunked then, too. Would rather use real data. Still a 6:1 ratio, so still pretty fucking clear.

Inb4 people ree at me for wanting concrete facts used for our rebuttals, "bro it's just a meme", etc.

So... Money laundering aside, there probably are people on unemployment/welfare giving some amount, however small, to the Dem campaign.

So, by extension... My tax dollars are being given to political candidates I don't support, against my will. Riiiiight. Cuz that's fair.

I always find it deliciously ironic their organization is called MoveOn, ya know, what with not moving on from losing 2016.

Saw Sean Parnell on there. No surprise.

Edit: okay, without being any more specific, and assuming he's not the only person who's ever served who has that name, just saw one of my old superiors who retired out just a few years ago on the list.

Yeah, it's pretty blatant. Leads with "Request...", the button/'option' below it says "Request Ballot"...

Had it not been for the fact they literally say request (i.e. saying you have to take positive action to vote absentee), and instead just vaguely said "you can vote by mail! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! :)" There might be a point to outrage.

The line is actually exactly where the OP said in the post you replied to, 14/24. 13 and below, it's still blessedly protected by statutory rape law - though who knows what can change in the future?

I would think it's pretty clear that this is supposed to point out the absurdity that, even if the story were true, it's still unimportant by comparison.

I would say, rhetorically, that you might be interested to know he made a video specifically pointing out the reporter who FOIAed the USN canex on the helo ride, and that he was well aware that the only thing trump said was specifically about McCain, but... I know you aren't actually interested and just wanna keep going "beanie man bad", rather than "I don't personally like beanie man but it's nice for him to do his fencesitting gig because it activates moderates and even disillusioned leftists".

This was not the case when I got it in... 2014 or so?

Edit: sorry, that's one of 5 options. My bad for misrepresenting the info.

That said, even if you don't take an official CCW course, it is probably still the case that you must make yourself familiar with the rules and regs, right?

I watched this. Got kinda upset. Then started talking to my coworkers.

Then I started getting angry.

Then I got furious. Now I'm just kinda stewing in my rage.

Who in the ever living fuck does this bitch think she is? All politicians? They work for us. They represent us. They are there in DC or the state capital or the city hall or whatever the fuck at our fucking pleasure.

These motherfuckers better fucking pray to God above they're voted out nice and dignified like. Because the rate they're going, if they win, there's gonna be some angry motherfuckin constituents enacting their own change of office, and I'm about, oh, 8 months or so past caring about how it gets done.

Won't be me, rest assured of that, whatever alphabet agent's shadowing my account. I'm bound by my enlistment, and I will continue that oath till the day I get my DD214. But I won't pretend I won't watch with anything more than vague disinterest as the people make their voices heard.

Stay with me here, total devil's advocate:

Let's say Grosskreutz was legitimately "trying to stop a mass shooter", that he actually believes his own narrative. This is against WI concealed carry training (which he MUST have gotten, otherwise he is demonstrably illegally concealing that handgun), as I got it before I left the state. And, as I'm sure any CCW license holder can tell you, against all training we're given. You having a weapon does not deputize you. It does not give you authority to chase down an assailant.

At the VERY LEAST, bare minimum, he should be arrested and charged for assault with a deadly weapon.

That said, there is that facebook post where he allegedly expressed regret at not being able to shoot "that little punk" (or whatever the verbiage was) Kyle, which is obviously not the typical words of a defensive shooter.

Edit: seems y'all didn't lambaste me because I appeared to be defending him. Appreciate it. Anyways, another thought that occurred: the best case scenario, ignoring illegal felony possession of a firearm, is that he would be charged with ADW and MAYBE pled down to reckless endangerment. This assumes he gets the crookedest judge and prosecutor possible and they do all they can to aid him. He still would be on the hook for waving his gun around in a crowded area, as normal citizenry don't have qualified immunity.

Fucking shit, did you guys read:

They had A HUNDRED PEOPLE on this conference. She had to defend herself when they literally outnumbered her 100:1.

It's bad either way, but it's not like it was just a one on one with some director or something. What the fuck is this dystopian nightmare?

The primary con (and, frankly, only one that I acknowledge) is that term limits would make it so that a particularly good member of Congress couldn't stay in office and continue to be good. In that case, though, just have a protege with the same or similar politics waiting in the wings or something, and wholeheartedly endorse them as the "worthy successor".

Another con I hear bandied about is that theoretically if the people of a district want to keep voting for a person, who are you to stop them? My problem with that is that humans are creature of habit, and tend to favor status quo and what is familiar (no matter how terrible) over a change that is by nature unpredictable. I grew up in Wisconsin and Herb Kohl was the senator for the entirety of my life from when my family moved there when I was young to when I joined the Navy, and... I couldn't tell you anything about his policy positions. He was just always there, always the senator, and it was taken for granted. Neither republican nor democrat primary challengers could unseat him.

The latter is where we see the rhetorical "glass of water with a [letter] on it would win" races, where there is zero impetus to consider alternative candidates.

So, here's the best way I can see the communists trying to spin this: both Love and Reinoehl are part of a specific subset of antifa who are going around committing acts of violence.

No hiding behind the "d-dont blame individual actor's actions on us!" TWO people were BOTH involved in specific violent altercations.

Trashaccount121 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is a Few Good Men scenario.

Antaramian said the violent atmosphere from people outside Kenosha had subsided and that peaceful protests and vigils for Jacob Blake had returned.

If the atmosphere is peaceful "again", why would POTUS be in danger? I want the truth!

I'm almost considering buying a less-standard (i.e. not 5.56 nor 7.62) caliber, just because I can be a bit more able to collect ammo, but obviously that makes it difficult to standardize with other people if shit goes all to hell.

Since this will be a two-parter (buy the upper and whatever accessories now, buy the lower after the waiting period), I intend to do just that. Cheers for the advice.

I'm hoping to at least have an upper in hand by the end of today.

Also yes, I need to blacken my boots, but I work in a dirty shop and my chain of command doesn't say too much so whatever
