There's a difference between "influencing" and "rigging" an election. They could have definitely influenced people to vote one way or another, but I don't see how it's possible to directly change a vote through twitter.

Influencing is like a sports team saying that they lost because the crowd was yelling mean things at them. Rigging is actually paying the umpire off to change balls and strikes.

Reminds me of the Adamson BBQ guy. Apparently, he ended up shutting down all of his locations.

I remember reading Bill Joy's "Why the future doesn't need us" in Wired when I was in college over two decades ago. Now it seems like the "future" is here.

Make up a problem and offer the solution. That's got to be page 1 in the democrat playbook.

Conservative playbook is quit screwing things up and leave everything alone.

I won't be surprised if they come out with a new Sergeant York movie to boost military recruitment numbers. They'll probably get the rock to play the lead role.

Back in the day, if you were a guy and couldn't get into college then joining the military was the honorable thing to do. You got a nice uniform, fought for your country, and your family was proud of you when you came home from seeing the world. No clue why anyone would join after the Soetoro administration, unless you were already in the system and just waiting to retire.

I've honestly had youtube videos with negative watch time. I could see in analytics where it looked like somebody just went in and subtracted off hours of view time in one chunk.

I can post the same video at the same time on both youtube and Rumble. The youtube version will get 10 to 20 views, while the Rumble version will usually get over 300 views. This is despite having hundreds of subscribers on youtube and having an account on there for over 15 years. At this point it's just laughable, and I don't even consider youtube a serious video platform anymore.

I don't see much between today's televised sports and the "racist negro leagues" from 50 years ago.

I sort of agree. If I put a message board on my site, I don't need the federal government telling me who I can and can't censor. The free market solution is for people to stop using twitter, but it keeps getting shoved down everyone's throats by the media and sites like this one. I guess the only illegal part is if they were colluding with the government while claiming to be a private company.

I think everyone has an internal compass that points to their source of truth. For some people it points to the Bible. For other people it points to the media and television. The problem is when those two sources of truth are incompatible with each other. It's like cognitive dissonance at a society level.

I know a lot of corporations claim to have sold a million burgers or have millions of viewers. We are just supposed to believe it because they said so. It feeds the sheep mentality that everyone else is doing it, so I should too.

It's all one big circle

Operation Paperclip > Nazis > Wernher von Braun > The Mars Project book > beware the Elons > Elon Musk > SpaceX > NASA > Operation Paperclip

It's like Godwin's Law got thrown out the window after 2016.

Hannity wouldn't have made it without Alan Colmes. Hannity sounded reasonable just because Colmes was such a left wing nut job.

I miss Neal Boortz. His show was usually on before Rush. I didn't agree with everything he said, but he was about as anti-establishment as it got. Look up the interview Boortz had on O'Reilly's show.
