Yeah didn't for for that to come across the way it probably did. I was just pointing out that the justification in the article you linked presented it in a way that didn't really seem genuine. Not saying this EO is actually any different than the others.

Seems to me in every case cited from that article, the president signing said EO each did so years before leaving office. Obama signed his in the 2nd year of his 1st term. GWB singed his in the 1st year of his second term. The only one signed before potentially leaving office was Rapey Bill in April '96.
Not saying it proves anything either way but it seems to be a reach to claim every President does so shortly before leaving office.
Yeah unfortunately the ammo situation is bad for pretty much every cal right now. I would definitely recommend getting one if you're in the market. They are on the heavy side, but most factory chassis rifles are. I'm considering picking another up in 300 Win Mag and rebarrelling chambered in 7mm SAUM for a ELR build over the winter.
Yes its the RPR in .243 and I love it. Bought it when they first came out like 5 years ago so I'm not sure how much is different from mine to the Gen 3's other than not making it in .243 anymore. I've shot 1/4 MOA groups at 300 yards with handloads and hits on target all day out to 1k in decent conditions.
Are you looking for bullets/components for reloading yourself or factory loaded ammunition? For my handload components I mostly use MidwayUSA. They sell factory ammo as well, but as has been pointed out already, most places are sold out of the ammunition in the more popular calibers.
I appreciate all the tips and well wishes. Not really considering the swan dive for the record, but there are moments where I'd like punch the other side of my face to feel a different pain. Luckily I was able to set up an appt with the dentist in the morning so hoping for some relief after that. 48 straight hours of tooth pain is a real bitch. Not trying to be a doomer here, but let me play devils advocate for a minute. Could it be that Ted Cruz senses an opportunity here to fill the vacuum created from the potential of President Trump not winning? He really doesn't have much to lose by supporting Trump right now, and certainly sees the support he could possibly gain from Trump's absence. What has Cruz done in the past 4 years to really support Trump's agenda/policies? I myself used to be a huge Ted Cruz fan during the Tea Party years of the Obama admin. Seems to my recollection Cruz has been very quiet on the political stage since 2016. I have no problem with people supporting Cruz. I just ask you to honestly answer these questions:
"Where has Ted Cruz been the last 4 years while Trump was leading the fight for us and why is he chosing this moment to finally join now?"
