There's no question the National Guard will be deployed in state capitols and DC. I think the unfortunate injuring and killing of police will make a lot of great patriots in our police forces treat future protesters more skeptically. We've always been on their side and backed the blue, but some of our more extreme brethren took things too far, and I think they have respected us.

What I'm saying is they were 100% MAGA, but they are pulling away. If I double-down too hard, they'll write me off as "too extreme" for them. Again, they didn't say it outright, but my sense is they are headed the Lindsey Graham path of saying "I was with you, but you took it too far. I'm out guys."
