The only way it makes sense if if you have a group of 4 people and you're worried about 50-50 votes occurring and causing gridlock. So you each give up 1% to a 5th party who acts purely as a tiebreaker for 2-2 vote scenarios.
GOP hasn't learned a thing since they crapped all over Ron Paul. You don't own us and you don't own our vote. Maybe back in the 80's and 90's when GOP voters were spineless Fox-fed lemmings, but not any more. It's our way or no way. You're either all-in against globalism or you're dead to us.
There are 27 Congressional states under Republican control and 23 under the Democrats. Liz Cheney is the only house rep for Wyoming. If she flips the Democrats would only need to flip one more state to force a tie - which is basically as easy as flipping the one Republican Congressman from any of Alaska, N Dakota, S Dakota or Montana. From there, the Democrats would need to either flip another 1 representative state, or flip a state where a single Republican vote could turn it from Rep to Dem (Pennsylvania, Florida or Georgia).
I don't trust the GOP to stand up and hold the line anywhere.
