Yea, i've done it before when I was a teenager and had nowhere to go but this time is hitting a whole lot worse. I was doing GREAT prior to the lockdowns. I wasn't anywhere too comfortable but I was better off, financially, than I had ever been in my life. I was stoked, it looked like this year was gonna be the year I could afford to get everyone something for Christmas(I've got five sisters and they always grab me something. Not to mention their husbands, long-term boyfriends, and children keep multiplying but this year I was gonna be able to handle everyone!) Then COVID comes along and the lockdowns happen and I got lucky and found work two states away on a farm and did that while sending money home for rent. Figured my city would be open by the time the work dried up there but boy, was I wrong. Missed out on the federal unemployment and state unemployment hasn't come in in months and they haven't replied to any emails i've sent them. It's all fucked up. I'm more angry than anything.

I'm in Philadelphia, not CA. Fuck California. We've been locked down so tight that all of the neighborhood businesses are closing for good. Everyone seems so content with it too, that's the weird thing. I don't see anyone that looks like they're feeling it but maybe that's because all these people I see from up here in my old factory are people that are moving in to brand new townhomes and condos during the pandemic.
