We don't have to take responsibility for it... But there was violence. I watched hundreds of the videos they scraped from Parler... and I watched live.
Who was violent? Antifa and various "accelerationists" (right and left wing anarchists who want to see this all burn asap). Some of these people were dressed up as Trump supporters, some are Trump supporters that got riled up, and some folks are just innocent Trump supporters that got caught up in it.
That doesn't mean we or Trump are responsible for what they did.
Libertarians (should be) against any violations of the “non-aggression principle “ a.k.a. NAP.
Many BLM events have involved aggression - not cool. As a libertarian, I would never align myself with people being aggressively violent.
Self-defense isn’t aggression. Some argue that BLM is defense against systematic aggression. I think the more extreme elements of BLM are focused on violence against cops and looting.

And for the record, I agree with her. I need to keep food on the table and I don’t want my kids to grow up without a dad. Someone has to each them to avoid the soi larping.
My wife wants to make sure I make it home to help with the kids - in more than one sense. I need to help get the kids to bed, and make sure I don’t end up in the hospital or worse.
Nothing "happens", but politicians are supposed to listen to their constituents. This letter is "signal" and represents part of his base. They're saying "keep this up, and we'll make sure your next election will be rough." That said, his next election is in 5 years. That's a long time and many voters will forget.
