I completely agree with your comments regarding his 2A stance and speech. However, DJT is an established figure who has been well-known for decades, is charismatic, and has a record to run on. He also appeals to moderate liberals with some of his stances, even though I wish he would take a more conservative approach (e.g. guns, medicare, spending). DJT's approval within the party was in the mid 90s, so conservatives overall think he is a fantastic candidate. If DJT cannot win, then Jr. definitely cannot.
I would like to see someone like Don Jr. as an adviser to the President rather than Javanka.
Trump should shift his focus to the local governments in the swing states. We need to ensure ballot integrity and election legitimacy by forcing the state legislatures to do their jobs, whether by coercion or voting them out. Otherwise, the Presidency is definitely lost forever.
Someone in Trump's family, or a trusted ally, should run to unseat Marco in 2022. Rest of the family might as well run for House seats in FL. Trump should focus his attention on the fraud issue, using the influence he has within the party, and then run in 2024. I like Jr., but he is no DJT and wouldn't perform as well in the 2024 general election. I would support a DJT/Jr. ticket, though.
