I dunno about that. I think many, if not most, are self-aware enough that they know they have to play a certain role to keep their job. There have been enough instances of hidden cameras catching higher-ups in the media unmasked.
One brief example: take a look at Kaitlan Collins who used to work for the Daily Caller and who had defended (or at least spoke positively) about the Trump administration during her time there. Then when she jumped to CNN she did an about-face and went off the fucking deep end. I don't think someone like that actually drinks the kool-aid. I think she recognizes that the MSM is the activist arm of the DNC and knows that in order to cultivate a long-term career, she should play nice with her liberal overlords.
