Middle school administrators called me just a little bit ago, said the teacher was misunderstood by my son and wants an opportunity to explain his position.
I literally responded and said "are you asking me to sit in a room and listen to a Math teacher explain to me the rational for Critical Race Theory being taught to my 13 year old son?"
Response: "and that is why we want you to come in so you can hear from the context from him"
Meeting is Monday at noon, I will post afterwards on being lectured about my whitness by a 7th grade math teacher. If its not me posting, it will be my wife asking for a defense fund because I snapped/

I talk to both of my boys often about what is going on and show them both sides of the argument. 10 min of CNN / 10 min of Fox / 10 minutes of watching the actual speeches or reading the actual reports that the news is trying to convey. The older one has already learned to go directly to the source and ignore the talking heads revisions of actual events.
The administrators are still trying to keep me calm, but I have heard them already too many times try to excuse the math teachers speech as poorly worded...... Um nope cats out of the bag, the teacher is a racist and the only acceptable response is removal
The teacher is maybe 5' 5" 150lbs according to my kid.
I am a 6' 225lb powerlifter that has a lot of testosterone and rage that needs to be kept under control.
They just set a meeting for Monday morning with everyone including the teacher. God help this man if he in anyway tries to defend himself and doesn't resign before the end of the meeting.
This is a $25k per year private school.

My wife asked if I wanted to ride with her to the school. And I just made it clear that if the school in anyway tries to defend this statement I would most likely be leaving in handcuffs with a smile.

Just got off the phone with administrators. They are launching a full investigation and are pulling the teacher and all students in to interview them to understand what was said.
I made it abundantly clear that under no context is it acceptable for a MATH teacher to try to teach my child about world politics and even worse to promote racism Through made up phrases like WHITE PRIVILEGE.
they asked me to come up to the school to talk and I advised them that my wife will be there shortly as they do not want me in the school at this time. Pending their investigation and disciplinary action against the teacher taken i will stay offsite.
What a journey this has been, I have been a Trump fan since long before he ran for president.
This man has shown me what it takes to be a leader and successful. Never apologize for being right, stand your ground and do what’s right now matter what.
This country is a better place to live in thanks to him. He has save us countless lives by pulling us out of endless wars, brought back industries we thought were dead and most importantly pulled back the curtain to show us how bad it really is.
