I have watched it fall since 2008 as they consolidated for example, most of the radio FM stations in the golden horseshoe (Niagara to Oshawa area) are owned by a single entity or have the same talking points hell the rock stations sometimes are only 2 songs out of sink with each other. Station I used to listen to on AM while working was neutral slightly conservative before last election. After Trudeau "won" recently it made a hard left turn suddenly, been listing to it for 20 years, it was like someone flipped a switch.

Also my understanding is the COVID test can false positive on the flu (least that is what they said back in March). Flu vaccine is usually made up from weakened virus so the body can make anti bodies. We had so many people in Ontario get the flu shot this year they ran out...and now we have a covid spike...why am I not surprised..
In Toronto and area they pushed the flu shot so much we ran out of doses (historic level of people getting it) . Back at the start of all the covid testing there was warnings that if you had the flu it could false positive on the covid test Usually the flu shot is weakened live flu virus ....we are now having a "massive surge" of covid and they are locking Toronto down, why am I not surprised
