- San Antonio Texas had a city ordinance that if you openly carried a long gun it had to be unloaded (Texas state law allows for open carry of loaded long gun without permit) -
- San Antonio's ordinance was illegal since State law overrode it, but they were still detaining and sometimes arresting folks for open carry of loaded long gun.
- Over a thousand folks showed up one day at Alamo Plaza in front of the Alamo with Loaded rifles and the San Antonio Police that day were the politest group of costumed individuals you have ever met in your life.
- San Antonio stopped enforcing the bullshit ordinance after that.
- Olmos Park Texas had the same issues.. 989 folks show up carrying.. Olmos Park police hid in the police station rather than face them.
