Imagine something so dire that unless you buy the product someone is selling you the world will end. It's a money printing machine.

Not only that it gives politicians a license to print money and use government (tax payers) money to buy things.

Climate change is being used by politicians to justify subsidies and other deals with their friends and their own companies that sell the necessary product to save the world. It's so effective that the public actually votes for this. Normally the public is against wasting tax payers money but with climate change, they've found a way to convince people to spend more more more.

How far can we push it though...?

The Jews are behind the conspiracy to destroy western civilization by enslaving mankind and promotion social degradation in order to fulfill the prophecy and bring about the conditions needed for the messiah to appear! The evil banker Jews are responsible for all the wars and the Jews are responsible for critical race theory in order to bring about division in America to bring down the last country standing in the way of international communism! Communism is a Jewish ideology designed to pervert the natural order as dictated by divine law! The only Jew worse than a faggot Jew is George Soros!

Petition DENIED. Justice Gorsuch took no part in the consideration or decision of this petition.

Sounds like they didn't hear the case but denied the petition. As in they didn't technically rule on it and left it to the other supreme court.

SCOTUS chose not to hear the Kansas case though which is concerning. However, I don't know enough about the legal system to not exactly what this means.

Perhaps but I do believe this last year has engaged people far more than ever before in terms of seeing the problems in society and focusing in on ensuring their politicians start fixing those problems. Maybe I'm wrong and if Trump becomes president, things will just be status quo but Trump at least proved while he was in office he was willing to go against the status quo if he felt like it, which is why he is hated by so many in DC.

I don't disagree with you that Trump has his own agenda and he's not a paragon of upstanding moral virtue like some people believe.

His actions and policies as President have undoubtedly been far more beneficial than the alternative and I do believe given all things considered, he's doing a better job than most. It's not a matter of picking the better of two bad options, I don't actually think we'll see a better leader than Trump ever in our lifetimes.

No person ever agrees with everything their leader does but Trump at least is predominately on our side even if he's making money in the process. Most of the GOP and Democrats are not on our side, not even by a long-shot. The policies they support and undoubtedly overall against our interests.

For once in politics the choice isn't between who the least evil is but rather who the good person is that has his faults.

Honestly, I don't think anyone realized just how truly bad it was until this year. This year really opened the lid on the problems in academia. Trump did cancel CRT and announce he wanted school choice vouchers for his second term.

Heh, weak argument. Trump has taken effective and measurable economic action to help the USA through his EOs and dealings as president. Yeah, he gets some merchandise made in China and has had dealings with China. That's a minor point. I do agree it's a mistake but the infraction is insignificant vs. the actual action he has taken.

It's a similar argument to trying to invalidate an environmentalist because they bought an iPhone. Yes, the environmentalist shouldn't buy an iphone but at some level we all understand GHG Emissions are unavoidable which is why these environmentalists work on larger-scale government regulations that will have material impacts. Environmentalists who get these major changes through can be excused for buying cell phones from the perspective one who wishes to reduce GHG Emissions, like how Trump can be excused for having t-shirts made in China because of his actual policy decision regarding trade and the economic war with China.

Also, I do believe Trump had no clue where his merchandise was manufactured and didn't think to consider the optics or in doing what was optimal with regard to specifying where it was made.

But those same Americans are fine spending an effective (when you factor in lower wages, higher taxes, the price, etc...) $120 for a toaster made in China after all the environmental regulations, government corruption and wealth redistribution policies come into effect. What good is a $40 toaster when you have <1/3 as much disposable income?

We need the children back. Decades of academic brainwashing has led to this. It'll take generations to fix. Fortunately we have the truth on our side.

Okay good to hear. You're the second poster today with a very similar story and your quick matter of fact delivery without much detail made it seem slightly less believable than if you gave a more personalized touch.

In that case I'll respond a little more since this response seemed genuine to me :p

Really focus on not turning it into a competition of you being right and her wrong. Frame everything from the perspective of you wanting the best for her and you. You're a team and it's not about who is right or wrong, it's about doing what's right for the team. Show her you really care about her and that this isn't just a rabbit hole you've gone down to give yourself purpose and make yourself feel better or superior.

In regards to nationalism you can talk to her about how free trade policies have shifted value from the USA to developing countries and the only real people benefiting are the wealthy elite. You believe that inequality between the rich and the poor is a big problem. Discuss how this really increased as the world become more international because it allowed capitalists to shift capital to areas where they could get cheap labour. You'd rather see labour in the USA where we have worker protection laws to ensure labourers aren't exploited. These free trade agreements only benefit the wealthy elite at the expense of the middle class American worker.

This should tick some boxes in her leftist mind because you're trying to help the people she thinks you should be helping.

When it comes to morality, that'll be trickier so start with the economics side of things. She'll probably think you hate gays and LGBTQ+ or women. You'll have to navigate from the perspective of children. Discuss how when you have kids you want to ensure they are raised with the proper moral values and direction. You don't believe that just letting your kid do whatever is right and that kids do need parenting instead of letting schools, internet and Hollywood do all the child raising. You want to be there for your kids as a strong masculine role model and teach them what it means to be a man as you would expect the same in regards to teaching your daughter's what that meant. How you don't believe superficial sex with lots of different partners is actually good for anyone. How you believe there's too many groups that have their own interests at stake not the kids actual interests and you're just concerned this lack of parenting and proper teaching of children how to be a good person is having an overall negative impact on society.

Just keep the whole thing about how you want to spend more time to be a good father to your kids playing baseball or teaching them how to be a good person. Make it seems like you think that's lacking in society and that so many political groups exist that try to make a child's life purpose about pursuing those political beliefs and you just want to ensure your child has the training growing up to learn to value his identity as a person by something more than just latching onto these political beliefs. That doesn't make you fat right that just makes you a concerned parent.

Ugh, the number of leftists on this site has noticeably increased today. You have 1 other post and this reeks like LARPing.

Even though I don't believe you, I'll give you an answer. Don't fight with her by trying to angle how you're right and she's wrong. That doesn't work. Show her how your beliefs actually are in her best interest. If you're new to this, that's going to he tricky because you might not even understand yet how it in fact is more beneficial to you. There's a lot of leftist programming to unwind.

One thing you could start with is nationalism. Ask her what's wrong with being nationalistic. Explain to her how being nationalistic actually benefits you and her more than not being nationalistic. That's probably the easiest then move into economics, which is the next easiest and overlaps with nationalism, then move into academia. From there morality. Good luck at your trolling or your actual concern.

Covid reduces male fertility and the vaccine reduces female fertility... Hmmmm

But the study is weak, only 5 participants and they're all over 50 years old...

Still not good.

With Trump pulling out of wars and become more nationalist, Islam doesn't have much care to attack the USA.

You are correct though, most of the world is being fucked over by this same poison. Places like Hungary are still trying to hold strong. Most people are blind to the problem. The Pope is a Marxist plant and always has been. He's purposely dismantling any power the church has over instilling proper morality.

Fair. Keep in mind everyone is on edge right now and that this place doesn't censor so you're going to get pricks.

It's just a stressful time.

This has been a problem of conservatives in the west for decades if not centuries.

The issue is that western values are so rooted on individualism and freedom that conservatives have a real hard time telling other people how they ought to behave. It is seen as oppressive and counter to the values of individualism and liberty. The only areas conservatives can agree on mainly is something extreme like abortion because it's akin to murder. Conservatives can't even protect marriage because "well if they want to, it's their choice and I shouldn't force them into anything they don't want. They aren't harming anyone". Except conservatives haven't quite fully woken up to the fact that these encroachments on traditional values and morality has in fact been causing harm to society.

Some conservatives are waking up and are demanding a more rule based society toward developing proper morality but too many conservatives, especially the baby boomer generation. Baby boomers never got to partake in a society that resulted from their decades of loosening the moral values of society. They grew up in a society still held together mostly by this traditional sense of morality and they pushed for freedom from moral "repression" to such an extreme that this push is continuing nonstop toward our own destruction and these conservatives don't see it.

The time for consorting with the enemy is at an end because things have gone too far in a negative direction. We need a much more conservative society all around but the individualism and freedom concept is too deeply rooted in conservatives. That will be their own undoing.

Isn't entirely bullshit and isn't legal. If there's one thing 2020 has taught me is that most people are just wholly incompetent and no level of education or prestige matters. Competence seems tied to the morality of the person and that's it.

Activist judges. Even read the dissent. They made up the ruling entirely. There is no law saying you can't disinfranchise voters as far as I know. The constituion clearly says the State can choose whoever they like. Of course there's probably more activist legislation they can pull from. This isn't constitutional though.

Trump said to vote for them. That is reason enough.
