Correct. I was there too.

Let's compare the DEGREE of violence with what we saw ALL SUMMER LONG. Everybody else on the planet can push and shove and yell and throw shit except us? Fuck that. Every other group of "protestors" burned shit down but were not called rioters or domestic terrorists.

THAT is the fucking problem. People were pissed and rightfully so. Did some relatively small group of people get more violent than the rest? Yes they did. SO FUCKING WHAT!

We have eaten enough shit. It's time to be pissed about it and stand up for ourselves.

I disagree. A Twitter screenshot is very easy to validate if you don't trust it. If you want to go to the site to see it yourself, knock your socks off.

If you want to stay on twitter and post useful stuff here, go for it.

My choice is to deprive them of my traffic.

I won't either. No more traffic.

Pedes, some of the videos can only be found through twitter, so please if you have them try to post in a way we can watch without giving traffic. TYIA.

I think I saw him in the street preaching while a lot of crowd was moving toward the ellipse to hear Trump. I'm pretty sure it was him and it was before the "incident". I didn't conclude one way or the other at the time.

I saw an interview with him as "Angeli" (which someone claimed was a stage name) after one of the BLM events and he kept bringing the talk back to the media distorting every story. He seemed sincere enough because he carried that interview off for a solid four minutes.

People post that he was "at BLM demonstrations" as if his mere presence was enough for us to know his ideology and intention at the Capitol.

I see him more as a Joker (watch the world burn) than as Antifa.

I feel like we are watching a movie and I keep thinking, "That's not believable, the audience isn't going to buy it."

Good point! Same here.

I came much closer, and for a longer period of time, with patriots at the Capitol than I have with any other people for months. Very few masks to be seen. Healthy as always.

I am right there with you. And that is true for many of the posts these days.

TELL ME WHAT TO THINK, PEDES!

I felt the same. The energy was incredible. I am so grateful I was there.

From a different perspective, that wind that caused you (and me) to experience the gas was dispersing it quickly so that few people felt strong effects from it (unless they got a more direct dose. The wind was on our side that day dispersing it and blowing it towards the cops. I considered that part of my contribution.

How YOU doin???

We need a MAGA friendly dating site. I took a selfie at the Capitol and I am going to post it as my profile pic in a week or so and see what swipes right.

Can confirm.

Bet on America. I made poorly timed decision after poorly timed decision for a couple of decades and lost across the board. One day I came across advice to buy the S&P, or the DOW, or even the NASDAQ and I researched it and did so. I have made much much more money this way.

Spez to add: I hate how much of the S&P and NASDAQ are composed of the tech giants.

it's all in cash and I'm staying out for a while to see how things shake out.

Are you sure about that? It's hosted in Switzerland.

I set-up a protonmail account and switched over everything I had been using on my "alt" Gmail account. I installed Signal this morning and set it as my default messaging app - I don't know anyone else using it yet, so messages to normies are not encrypted.

When I went to DC I just brought my smartphone so I could take pictures. In retrospect, I am now aware of how many breadcrumbs I left such as credit card charges, plane tickets, hotel room, location tags on pictures, etc.

I didn't do anything illegal and I should NOT have to have a moment's concern.....but I don't trust anything that is happening in this country right now.

I didn't see a lot of the videos for the first few days, partly because it took a while to get back and catch up on work and partly because I do not watch the news on TV. Even today I am seeing new clips I haven't seen before.

I just saw one of the supposed "wreck" inside the Capitol offices. There are papers all over the floor and stuff knocked off desks, etc. There were some desk lamps that had the shades tilted [OMG! DESTRUCTION!]. The offices looked disheveled and that's about it. They could be cleaned up in an hour. Nothing broken. Hearing the REEEEing about it, you'd think there were bonfires inside the building.

Today I also saw numerous angles of Feds pointing guns at the unarmed people who were pushing on the doors -- that was a hell of a lot scarier sight to me. What gave them the idea that keeping people out of a room inside the building was worth taking a life for?

Antifa were probably there, they were a very small part of what happened and it really just does not matter that they showed up. This was almost exclusively American patriots standing up for our rights and for our country.

I said to a fellow patriot -- while I was standing where I wasn't supposed to be standing -- that I did not before what I was coming to DC to do, but now knew that this was exactly what I came to DC to do.

They definitely started it. All those fucking flash bangs were unnecessary and over-the-top and that is what started stirring the anger. I could not believe how little provocation it took for them to start lobbing CS and pepper gas on us (especially after everything we watched all Summer throughout the country.)

I remarked to another patriot, "the last time I got gassed by my government I was in boot camp". I could not believe how aggressive they were. Then I commented that pretty soon the cops would do the math and retreat inside the building and they did just a few minutes later.

Thanks for saying so. I felt pretty bad that night, but as more unfolded and I had time to think about it, I know it was important for us to do it and I know we did the right thing for our country.
