This is not a problem specific to “young nurses”. These are also nurses that have been doing this forever. I have lots of friends in all types of roles in the medical community that should all know better, yet somehow they refuse to ask questions. They pull the “I can’t believe you’re a nurse, you don’t believe in science”. Last time I checked, science also recommends you have long term studies and data before you start shelling out a medication to millions of people.
I’m trying to figure that out. What I can tell so far is it appears to be more common in long term care facilities than hospitals (just based on those who offered that info up in the thread).
