Exactly. The article, imo, deceptively leads with the outbreak starting at the nursing home "as a wave of post-Thanksgiving Covid-19 cases began hitting the county" on Dec. 21.
The outbreak started on the 21st in the COUNTY. We don't know when the first cases were reported at the NURSING HOME, but from a quick reading, you would have thought it was the 21st.
Okay. And if the state legislatures pick the electors, how does that procedure go? Is it just in their respective House of Representatives or also the Senate? And is it simply a greater than 50% vote?
I know that all the states have GOP majority, but I'm wondering what would happen if a few legislators get cold feet.
If you actually read the article carefully, we don't know when the first case was reported in the nursing home. The 21st, the day you're talking about, was when the outbreak started at the county level.
