My buddy was an NJT engineer and his overtime pay DWARFED his already high base salary with all the bullshit union regulations. You get a half-day overtime pay just for showing up for your damn job. The best part is that rapidly industrializing countries (hate to say it, but China and Dubai, mostly) are running driverless trains. They don't do a damn thing that a computer can't do perfectly.

You don’t even have to be vegan to know that what goes on in these industrial plants is disgusting to animals and humans. The human workers here have the highest rate of suicide, depression, PTSD and substance abuse of any civilian sector.
