This is last week stuff and I hate how they framed this story. I think what they're doing in DC is wrong but this is framed like it's a nationwide thing and that children are being FORCED to take vaccines without parent consent. It's wrong, but in DC children can opt to take vaccines without their parents consent.
Hopefully that doesn't become a thing everywhere else because it's pretty bad logic to think that children can make good decisions themselves and that everyone offering them vaccines would be good people. Very dumb law on the DC people... and I hope that it winds up getting tossed.

It was a while ago, I'm just guessing around 2010 or so when it just went from being few hundred to 10s of thousands of bucks.
