The Senate can adopt whatever rules it chooses. It can and should adopt the FRE.

This isn't concern trolling.....Its an issue. Trump's fate is ultimately going to be in the hands of Senate RINOs.....subject to whatever threats or promises are made to them to betray those who voted for Trump....a secret ballot would make it easier for them to betray Trump.
Not saying that's going to happen, but Trump, us, and enlightened R Senators (assuming they really exist) must guard against this and other dirty tricks.
Yeah, god willing, Trump triumphs....but victory comes at great cost. Unless was retake the house, we'll be doing this once or twice a year. Why not? Dems have little to lose.

The secret ballot would be the easiest way they can get to 60, and all it would take is a Romney and one or two more.
I'd feel very betrayed if they voted to remove....but to vote to remove secretly? That's just about the worst betrayal imaginable. We can punish them by....letting democrats run everything? Which is what would happen. The stakes are high.

Me too....optimism alone didn't get Trump elected....he had to work hard and work smart to overcome the odds. He's got to do the same here.
I hope you are right. But they have to know they will be finished before they vote....its doesn't do much good if they find out they made a mistake after the vote.
