Installed is proper terminology. In an orderly transfer of power, being elected decides who will be installed.
States are allowed to conduct and corrupt the election. The constitution explicitly grants to the states the power to determine the means by which their elections are conducted and how their votes are cast. If California wanted to make it law that California always votes for the democrat candidate and no citizen of California can vote, that is within their power. It is the states who are voting for president, not the people in those states. And the state can use whatever means they choose to determine who they vote for.

There are three types of transgenderism, and they need to be dealt with in different ways.
Type 1: Biological brain / body sex difference. The brain is physically one sex due to birth defect, while the body develops physically as the other. Affected individuals are best treated with surgery and hormones to correct the body, because adjusting the brain to come into compliance is not possible, and the brain will be adversely affected by receiving the wrong hormones from the body, driving the patient to insanity or suicide. Such individuals are usually very secretive about their condition. None of a Type 1's issues have anything to do with a perceived identity.
Type 2: Mental image / physical sex difference. The brain and body both agree on the sex of the individual, but the individual's mind holds a persistent mental delusion, often learned, of being the other sex. Treating the patient as if they were Type 1 is the worst possible mistake, as their brain remains physically the same sex and administering the Type 1 treatment to Type 2 will induce the symptoms of nontreatment from Type 1, leading to insanity or suicide. The patient should instead be treated as delusional and given mental therapy to coax them towards accepting the reality of their situation. Such individuals are usually open about their condition and seek the Type 1 treatment rather than Type 2.
Type 3: Entitlement / importance difference. The brain and body both agree on the sex of the individual, but the individual has been politicized into a postmodernist view of reality that promotes a culture of confusion, outrage, and victimization because the patient would otherwise be unimportant. Treating the patient as if they were Type 1 is the worst possible mistake, as their brain remains physically the same sex and administering the Type 1 treatment to Type 3 will induce the symptoms of nontreatment from Type 1, leading to insanity or suicide. They are aggressive about normalizing their condition and may seek Type 1 or Type 2 treatment. It doesn't really matter which.
