For the Active Duty it depends on branch, pay grade, and MOS. Remember the briefing by the Senior Enlisted to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a big percentage of E8's and below aren't as smooth brained as the Pentagon claimed.
As far as the National Guard? Totally depends on the whether it's Air or Army and what state their in.
DoD knows what Governors and what TAGs will go in what directions since last summer..... Theres a reason why certain states, units where deployed to Michigan, on stand by for DC, Kentucky, etc......
Get a preview by looking at what states sent how many and what units to DC, and what states are still there in support........

DC Guard is the most useless National Guard outside of PR and Guam. Besides critical race theory workshops, none of them have attended in-person AT/Drill in 9 months. Doesn't help readiness when the vast majority of the formation are waiver babies that can't pass an APFT height and weight.........

I'm stationed in Northern Virginia and I send emails daily to my Arizona state reps. Additionally I visit my Congressman's office here in DC almost once a week. (I'd do the same for our Senators, but.........)

The DC Guard reports DIRECTLY to the President. The only way the DC Guard becomes reportable to either the Active Duty Army or Active Duty Air Force is if the President activates them on Title-10 orders.
Not to mention the vast majority of DC Guard leadership and rank and file DC Guardsmen are absolutely anti-Trump.
