The US Congress, in joint session, read aloud and count the Electoral College votes on 6 Jan. During this count objections to the votes can be raised. These objections would then be brought before each chamber separately for consideration and presumable a vote to accept or reject the votes that were objected to. If enough votes are rejected neither Trump nor Biden get 270 and then the House would move to cast one vote for each state according to each state's delegation of representatives.
