Because usually with medication it takes lots and lots and lots of test runs and the test runs themselves takes a long time to complete. With a pandemic everyone wants to announce a promising drug a success but doctors and scientists in the feild are hesitant to put a public backing to a product without it passing all their test milestones. Its annoying, but I get it. It seems like HCQ has as good as a chance as any to be that game changer but noone in the medical feild or even the political feild wants to jump the gun and announce a messiah if they could be wrong.
