Beto literally didnt run on anything other then not being Cruz. For months he was a moderate, then a few days before the vote and the polls came in he all of a sudden wanted to tear down preexisting wall and even more radical gun laws.

Or they looked at the moderate candidates and saw that out of that group Biden has the best, if low, shot and chose him just to keep their party out of the progressive hands.

I think it's pretty obviously going to be a Biden/Warren card. With Warren saying she isnt dropping out till the next wave of states and 538 giving her a .01% chance of winning.
