Which is why I saw that as a great move for Crowder. Guy kneeled on his neck and he was fine, especially as he spoke.

We aren't stupid. The left wants us to think that way.

We're very conservative, but not politically, and religious.

A lot of us blacks are misinformed and the Dems have been brainwashing us since forever.

It's only a matter of un-doing that brainwashing.

I think he was doing that to prove a point. Floyd said he couldn't breathe as he was being pinned down.. you know, still talking.

Wait, wasn't Floyd talking when he said he can't breathe? I don't think Crowder was trying to be an ass just to be one.. I think he was trying to prove a point.

Sadly, some of the boomers here will disagree with you.

--Oh, and boomer as in "state of mind". I have seen boomer-minded millennials and actual baby boomers with free spirits and "i'll do what i fuckin' want to" attitudes.

Be like them.

You talk as if Gold & Silver will have any value when SHTF. You can't eat gold neither silver.

But why do we like those shiny rocks?

Because we can create jewelry.

Because we can create computers & computer equipment with them.

Because we can create medicine with them.

Because we assume that they'll still have value after SHTF.

Because we assume that things will get better after SHTF.

And when things get better, what do we do?

Rebuild.

And when we rebuild, what will happen?

We can use modern technology again.

And what will help power computers & modern technology again?

Gold & Silver.

And what can be built off of computers?

Cryptocurrency.

Will we keep trading guns, ammo & cans of beans as currency?

No.

My pleasure!

Cryptocurrency is a decentralized form of money powered by a immutable (unchangeable) ledger. Most major cryptocurrencies use Blockchain technology.

Let's get one thing straight here though:

"Hacking" something like Bitcoin or Ethereum successfully requires magic. The magic to somehow steal offline copies of the blockchain, to make everyone monitoring the blockchain somehow not notice, to make miners somehow not notice (good luck trying to do that), to make every single node operator not notice and stop what they're doing, and to somehow manage to hack a satellite.

You could argue that 51% attacks are the most viable way of trying to change the blockchain.. but you'd also have to make people somehow not notice, and just accept a corrupt blockchain.

Is the price of crypto stable? Generally, no, but stabilization can be achieved using coins like DAI, which uses collateralization to stabilize the price.

Is crypto private? Crypto with private blockchains are. Using something like Bitcoin, you're tied to your bitcoin wallet if someone managed to figure out that you own it.

Monero is, as of the current date, untraceable.

Ethereum allows for decentralized finance. Want to trade with no regulation? Use a decentralized exchange. Want to set up decentralized crowdfunds? Sure. Casinos? Yup. Insurance? You bet. Virtually everything interesting in the world of finance can be found & built on smart-contract based cryptocurrencies.

TL;DR Crypto is decentralized and requires magic for you to hack it. Things like the stock market, websites, casinos, exchanges & insurance can be built on the blockchain.

Because you don't. I know you're trolling but you're talking about man in the middle attacks as if it's something that will destroy banks or crypto. Billions use banks every day; millions use crypto.

Do you really think people will just stop buying things online because they're afraid of getting MiTM'd?

If someone managed to "hack" Bitcoin, they'd either have to control or hack millions of people, reach millions of hardware nodes, cold storage devices & and somehow a satellite...

...and also expect those millions of people operating that infrastructure (especially the miners monitoring everything to make a buck) to not notice anything fishy at all.

One more thing: That person or group of people would also be able to take down critical U.S. infrastructure. So many a nationstate like China could try and do it; that'd only lead to people noticing China's antics and defending against it.

There are so many boomers here downvooting you. They don't know what crypto is, they think it's some corporate owned centralized bullshit.

I don't think you know what cryptocurrency is.. not to mention, they've already done something similar to your quote.

The future is now, old man. Keep guzzling that banker boot while we use real money.

They can make it illegal, doesn't mean people won't still use it.

See: Alcohol (Prohibition Era), Guns (soon to be banned nation wide), Drugs (worthless war)...
