Okay, this needs some setup.
There are a couple of comedians who have a show on Anthony Cumia's Compound Media podcast network. Aaron Berg and Geno Bisconte host a show that comes on before Anthony's show called In Hot Water. They are very un-PC, to say the least. Aaron Berg is one of the funniest people alive IMO.
Anyway, they were talking about the Virginia Beach shooting and Geno went on a bit about how "if they only had a good black themed restaurant to go to, maybe they wouldn't create havoc in the streets." This started Aaron on a bit about "didn't you hear about the new restaurant?"
I haven't laughed that hard in years.
Anyway, one of their fans, who is pretty savvy with photoshop and web coding, decided to buy the web address and make it a reality that very day.
I present to you:
I am a 52 year old gen X'er who works for "big brown" (figure it out). I find myself increasingly surrounded at work by zoomers who don't have a clue about the world because they get all their "news" from social media. I am proud to report that I have educated and turned many of them to TDW and Trump.
With this success I have always been amazed at how resistant my own peer group has been to change. My "white whale" so to speak, has been a long time fren who voted for Shrillary and has been defending Biden so far this election season. For background, he was a long time professional student type who spent double digit years in college and attained several degrees, which turned him into an insufferable elitist who although he thought highly of himself, found himself at his wit's end debating me on almost every subject in Facebook discussions (yes, I'm of the generation that defaults to that infernal platform).
He is conservative in many ways, notably on entrepreneurism, merit based systems, transgenderism, fiscal responsibility, etc., but places too much emphasis on personality issues and thus hates Trump with a passion. He has also displayed both in 2016 and now an annoying hyper focus on the person running and not what they represent.
I had this exchange with him through a direct message and this is my statement that finally got through to him:
Me:
"I don't think Joe or James are dumb enough to leave concrete evidence like emails or texts that would directly link them to actual transactions or financial payments. That is why they said this in text messages: 'In fact, I was advised by [James] Gillier and [Rob] Walker that Hunter and Jim Biden were paranoid about keeping Joe Biden's involvement secret.'
Him:
"Well, by that logic, you've indicted Trump and about everyone else. If there's no concrete evidence, we should assume it doesn't exist while presumption of guilt. Well, I can say that's about American is most people's level of patriotism today, so you've become standard...."
Me:
"The MSM and Democrats (redundant, I know) never used that standard in going after Trump for the last four years. There was much less substance than this in the Russian collusion persecution."
Him:
"Is that the "they did it first" argument, or they did it too?"
Me:
"In that scenario where you say "they both did it" I find myself voting for one side over the other, instead of for the man. In this case, one side has a placeholder for protecting capitalism, a semblance of free markets, merit based systems, free speech, in short a defense of western values and civilization. On the other side you have a placeholder for critical race theory, anti-capitalism, 1984 style new speak censorship, oppression heirarchy based systems, anti democratic technocracy, in short a communist style government. The choice then becomes an easy one."
He didn't respond for a couple of days.
Then a few days ago he messages me:
"I may not agree with you about Trump, but I thought about what you said about sides, and I have to admit the more I think about it.......I cannot vote for the democrats, and that means Biden. I won't vote for Trump, as he still represents the lowest common denominator, but I can't vote against my own interests."
We take what we can get my fellow pedes.
