We had one leave in Maine to be a libertarian. The GOP in some states are useless. Not only do they love to lose to Democrats, they completely fuck over some members because they don’t toe the party line.

Catholicism as a religion is fine (although it’s heavily influence by Celtic traditions that are often deemed to be pagan or heathen) but as an organization, they’re terrible. So many organizational rules that truly suck

Unfortunately Islam is not only a religion but a culture. The culture and religion often does not align with western/Christian ideals.
For example dogs - look into some of the Muslim demands in the yak regarding other’s pets. The other issue is the obvious corruption of Muslim politicians in the US. Look in Paris where it’s obvious the Muslim community follows their own laws while disregarding Frances own laws - and has beheaded people. We could go on and talk about how women and the LGBT community are viewed etc
The fact is, unlike Christianity, the Muslim community does not desire to live with other religions, they preach domination of others. And again this is more than religion it’s culture.
While I’m sure there are Muslims who do assimilate and who do not culturally believe in beheadings etc - the number is quite small. In time, maybe that culture will mesh better with western civilization, but at the moment they do not. You can modernize a culture, but westernizing is much harder.
