I mean I would argue Immigration is broken but it's more a matter of there aren't enough judges processing cases, and people are being allowed to wait for their cases in country instead of in Mexico / Canada. Man, growing up in the 90's and early 2000's I thought we were really on the right track to fulfilling dr kings dream... What the fuck.

It's actually amazing living here in NY right now and knowing no matter what I do I will never be able to afford to live here. If my home town wasn't so expensive to live in I'd probably not mind staying here for the next 60 or so years of my life, Almost everyone that ever moves away ends up settling back down here to raise a family anyway, but nah, NY's about to drag an entire state full of relatively good hard working people down on it's way further and further into debt, and I want nothing to do with it.

I've got a friend who slams into the wall of cognitive dissonance all the time and it's amazing watching him go from almost breaking through it to "lol they got you good man they brain washed you." Dude doesn't even see the irony in his statements, then he wonders why he's surrounded by right leaning people.

Humans are capable of great feats of good, and are just as capable of terrible feats of evil. The choices we make shape who we are to the world, but no matter how much wealth, or fame, or power one wields, at the end of the day they are still no more a man than you or I.
