What are they going to do, send in the military?
States that don't obey HR1 rules will probably not get the usual federal handouts, and their election results could be nullified. Their election officials could be charged and imprisoned for breaking the law.
The Democrats excel at tyranny, so don't doubt them. Just contact your House Reps and your Senators and ask them to vote against this bill. Also, join Trump's PAC and help any way you can.
Bill HR1 will force every state to allow cheating in future elections. It will force states to accept mail-in ballots, and ballots that arrive 10 days after the election. It will require states to allow ballot harvesting. It will forbid states to require voter IDs. It will allow intimidation and harassment of Americans for their political views. It will suppress freedom of speech. And it will require Americans to report their political commentary to the government, whether published on the internet or sent in newsletters. Bill HR1 is called the "For the People Act", but a more accurate title would be the "Against the People Act". Bill HR1 will be a fatal blow to America's democracy, if the Republicans allow it to pass in the Senate. Let's hope enough Americans see the danger before it's too late, and ask their politicians to vote against this extremely dangerous, democracy-destroying bill.

Sure, fight the gun bill, but defeat this one too. Never underestimate the Republicans' willingness to undermine America. You cannot rely on them to defeat HR1.
