Trump didn't want a second term and i don't blame him. Flynn and Powell apparently have said they haven't been able to see him, that explains Lindell's story. He's dealing with some nasty people and probably just wants to be left a lone for retirement. Especially for his family to be left alone. Pardoning Assange would jeopardize that.
