Costco is a terrible place to support. They are starting to put family farmers out of business by building mega animal farms to sell to people for cheaper than normal farmers can afford.

I'm vegan too and it's not bad at all. I am healthier overall because of it, and a lot of my health problems went away like PCOS, acne, acid reflux, and overall poor digestion. Maybe we can think of this as a time for us to reset our bodies and try something new. Or even start a movement of buying directly meat from farmers instead of through big ag corporations that treat farmers like shit.

I'm vegan and I agree something fishy is going on with the meat industry. Vegans keep posting all this propaganda that the virus is spreading through meat packing plants because the meat is carrying it. Why all the sudden would that the happening when we have viruses every year. Then big ag companies like Tyson are making some shady deals too. Every big corporation is benefiting while family farms are forced to toss food out.

They won't, businesses in KC have so far been 100% compliant. They will do anything to open. It's a very liberal city so they have no choice
I am currently living in KC and it's worse than just churches. They are going to start letting "non-essential" businesses open if they record your ID when you visit. The list will be handed over to the government to track positive Chinese Flu cases and contact people who might have come in contact with them. Businesses also have to be at either at less than 10% capacity or less than 10 people at a time. Basically small businesses might as well stay closed for the next 3 months

It is the federal government's job to keep the states in check when they violate FEDERAL rights/laws.
I get how frustrating this situation is but it would be cool of Trump could concentrate on helping the 20 million+ americans who lost their jobs and the 50% of small businesses that will permanently close
I always say this too and people get mad. The reality is that you have to be so low and have nothing else to protect in order to do something like this. Things have to get 100X worse. It's not like that yet, people still have jobs, homes, children to protect. Those come first, but if those reasons go away then you'll see a revolution. The dems know this though, and they won't take it all away from us. Just as much as they can

A lot of times they agree to do it together to get the prices back up. It's been happening forever. Prices plunge so you have to destroy product and start producing less in order to make a profit.
It sucks to see him in a position where he can't help us. Things are getting WORSE, not better. I love Trump but I'm tired of him avoiding this conversation. We are the ones who vote for him, not the people who want to extend the lockdown. He needs to step in NOW.

Yeah, I agreed that it's possible it might not work long term, that doesn't mean it didn't help me become a healthier person and re-think my eating habits. Going vegan forced me to eat a ton of vegetables that I never ate before. I ate pure garbage before going vegan. So if I ever stop being vegan, I'm still gonna incorporate a ton of stuff from the vegan diet. You don't have to go to one extreme to the other. I'm not saying you didn't almost die from being vegan. Just chill. I believe you dude, but I also believe the vegan diet has some pro's too.
