Robert and Janice Beecham have been married for 46 years, and this year they are happy to be recovering after a spring full of turmoil.
"It's a blessing to be here because a lot of people didn't make it," Janice told CNN.
Robert Beecham said he and Janice had been following the safety rules but he started to feel symptoms of Covid-19. A week and a half later he still wasn't feeling well so the couple got tested for the virus.
The next day, on March 25, he called his son and agreed to be taken to the hospital.
"He knew me agreeing without a fight meant that I was feeling pretty terrible," he said.
His anniversary was a motive to get home
Robert was admitted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas alone, and found out the next day that he was COVID-19 positive. He was moved to another floor and started his road to recovery, a feat he attributes to his doctor, Satyam Nayak.
"Dr. Nayak and I would open up casual conversations and it would take my mind off the virus," he said.
Robert told the doctor about having two strokes, one in 2012 and 2016, and missing out on an anniversary. He found himself in the same situation this year, so Nayak decided to use that as motivation to get him home.
Nayak came up with a plan where Robert could go home and get the care he needed from his wife. He made it home in time for their April 15 anniversary.
Janice has a positive test of her own Meanwhile, Janice had just recovered from having surgery in February after finding out about a second battle with breast cancer and a new diagnosis with ovarian cancer. She also tested positive for COVID-19, but luckily, she told CNN, her symptoms were mild.
"Once I got home, and we did the quarantine, I was getting progressively better but Janice still had issues with her health," Robert said.
"We're best friends, it was just tough," Robert told CNN.
Because of her diagnosis, Janice had not yet started the chemo treatments required for her cancer diagnoses.
Now, after surviving two surgeries, two coronavirus diagnoses, chemo and being declared cancer free, the Beechams only have one thing to say.
"It would have been impossible to make it with all the odds against you without God, and he has been our help, all these many years," Robert said.
Janice still has preventative radiation coming up, but the two said they are blessed to be alive and blessed to have celebrated another year together.

Biden is only getting 50% of all Dem votes in the primary when of all candidates except Bernie dropped out in the first week of March. That's a bad sign when 50% of the people in your party don't want to vote for you, when you were Obama's VP, especially when you have been the presumptive nominee for months now.
Remember Joe didn't even place top three in NH.
compared to 2016 President Trump when he got 44.9% and went against at minimum 5 candidates well into May. Simple math, if you are getting half of supporters when it is essentially a one on one race you are doing bad. If you are getting close 50% when it is a one on five race you are doing incredible.
If Dems want to go there and say muh popular vote. Incumbent President Trump is leading Joe Biden as of right now by 100,000+ votes

My point being President Trump has been the presumptive nominee since January of 2017 at the very earliest. People don't need to vote for him in such high 08' Obama numbers, but they are. He is well on his way to have the most primary popular votes in primary history of any incumbent.
President Trump had close to 14,015,993 millions voters in the 2016 Rep. Primary, so he is well on his way of adding 4 million new voters that did not have to show up to vote, but still did . That means historically President Trump as of right now at 94% of the Rep. vote has the second highest percentage of any incumbent in modern history. You have to date back to Woodrow Wilson of 1916 and Reagan of 84 to see the highest percentage points of 98.8% respectively.

- Wesley Hunt is not a good candidate. He is a carpetbagger and a neocon
Hunt works for Perry Homes and I wanted to ask him about Bob Perry’s efforts to establish Houston as a sanctuary city. Hunt responded by declaring that he did not believe that Houston was a sanctuary city. This is, of course, preposterous.The City of Houston joined other Texas sanctuary cities in filing a lawsuit to stop Senate Bill 4, which passed last session. Houston city council voted to join this lawsuit, which makes Houston by definition a sanctuary city. Of course, the city lost this legal battle. Hunt literally had no knowledge of this history. Hunt touted his military background, which is admirable.
I asked Hunt about Max Boot and the neocon policies that led to the invasion of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. Hunt was unfamiliar with Max Boot – never heard of him. Um, okay . . . scary. Boot and Bill Kristol, Trump critics, were all in on the weapons of mass destruction theory and vociferously promoted the idea of an invasion of Iraq following the September 11 attacks. These same folks are working to provoke a fight with Iran. and promoted the invasion of Syria.

Prediction: President Trump Gets the Republican Nomination by the end of March 10th Primaries with around 1,300 to 1,500 delegates. If accurate that means President Trump has 23 weeks (165 days) to campaign for the general while Democrats continue the primaries well into the summer.

Please Register New Voters! Have Persistence and Keep at it! This year (decade) is over in two months, and we must to be ready and on the ball for next year! I also would like Brad Parscale to work with us. We are the biggest Pro-President Trump platform on the internet. He needs us just as much as we need him. The best way for him to keep track with all his users would be for them to use /r/The_Donald. Obviously protecting the identity and not posting their full name, address, social security, etc. We can work together! For instance, once at rallies Brad can tell people about /r/The_Donald with Kayleigh McEnany and make sure that they are able to bypass the quarantine and be able to register so that they are update to with President Trump accomplishments and voting information. In my opinion they need Scott Presler as a secret voter registration leader. They can give him staff, a nice cheap bus, and a cheap plane so that he may be able to go to county to county and register new people and get them out to vote. It is imperative that President Trump gets all the help he can get!
