As an IT guy who supports a couple dozen offices I'm already getting asked by clients over the last 48 hours what alternatives are out there... Is there any service that would allow cross posting between platforms and keeps track of people you're following and their list of different user names? Right now many people are scrambling to get away from twatter with no real leader yet, but if there was a service that synced them all together you wouldn't have to try to pick just one.
That way if one gets canceled or overloaded you wouldn't even notice, it would kind of be a load balancing system for all of these different platforms. We need to build something better than the big tech apps and put them all out of business!
