So that's the thing, how do you get people over there that aren't just conservatives. Twitter is full-on telling people, stay here, don't go over there, they're all White Supremacists. The media only shows Twitter and Facebook posts on their broadcasts. Nobody even knows the alternate network is there.
I can't understand why oppressed people don't just start their own country.
It would be a conservative echo chamber. The point isn't to be able to talk to ourselves. The point is being able to talk to people who aren't on a side to convince them that seriously messed up things are happening and nobody's talking about it.
Just a reminder that this is exactly the post that would never have been allowed on Reddit. They would have claimed we were spreading information about how to hack an election.
YES, THIS IS WHAT WE ARE DOING!
It's not because we want people to do hack the election. If I logged into the website and changed someone's vote, I think the FBI would be at my door tomorrow.
We share it because the details are important. They demonstrate exactly how stupid the whole thing is. If we cannot see the details, then we cannot think for ourselves, and it's just "orange man bad" and "nothing to see with the election here, folks."
Maybe they can't be a citizen because they're a citizen of another country? I have no problem with someone voting here as long as they are subject to tax. No taxation without representation. This should be spelled out in the green card process.
I would also welcome Congress, as is their duty, to clarify and regulate this process through law. If that means that only citizens get to vote, or if they make exceptions for non-citizen members of the military, or however they want to arrange it. We need to clean this up, though, because we should have solid rules about voting so people can't play political games with our process.
Actually, according to the constitution, if you are eligible to pay taxes, then you are eligible to vote. It uses the term "Indians not taxed" which tells you why they were to be excluded. US Citizens and permanent residents who pay taxes should be counted for appropriation.
They believe anything that reinforces their view that Orange Man Bad. Over half the country supports him, and there is something seriously wrong with that half of the country! I know that's true because my feelings cannot be wrong.
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), opened his questioning of Judge Barrett by asking her to show her notebook. He was impressed, apparently, that she didn't need any notes or reference materials in front of her in order to answer all of their questions. The only thing on the desk was the Senate-provided notepad, and he asked her to hold it up to show it was blank.
Yes, it is. Sauce: https://electproject.github.io/Early-Vote-2020G/PA.html
