I talked to Lin Wood on Monday and he said they were $100k away from bail for Kyle. So, I called my mom, and told her that for Christmas she could donate $50 to fightback.law so Kyle could come home for Thanksgiving.

I'm very happy with that decision. I hope Kyle gets to spend Thanksgiving with his family like I will.

I e-mailed Lin Wood yesterday to ask about the status of Kyle's bail. He said they were very close to bailing him out, and that they have a safe place for him.

Please spread the word. I'm not asking for donations, because I'm sure you all have already donated. I'm asking you to spread the word among your friends and family. Let's help Lin get Kyle home for Thanksgiving.

Just to put a fine point on it, I'm not going to say how close they are. To me, though, it's ridiculously close. If he's not home by Thanksgiving, it's just because people have forgotten about him. Don't let your friends and family forget about him!

I don't trust any one company with this, especially after looking at who runs it.
