If we allow minors to transition then we need to get rid of alcohol, tobacco, tattoo, and any other "age restrictions" on anything. If you are "not old enough" to consume certain things then you are not old enough to make drastic and permanent changes to your body beyond even what a tattoo leaves.
It's also going to happen in certain states, just like what happened in those that legalized murdering an infant but calling it an abortion. They had to drop the law that named killing a pregnant woman as a double homicide because the fetus is no longer considered a person and they were getting sued. I'll disagree there. It's very useful to know certain things to be able to plan around and for them. Using your example, I know I'm going to eventually die so I'll take steps to account for that. I also know that gravity exists, which allows me to do certain other things with confidence that they will occur.
Knowing something will happen doesn't mean it's not useful and if that's what your Econ teacher tried to tell you then they were shit at explaining the point of certainties.
The human mind will always make something the subject of worship because it needs something bigger than itself to latch onto. If it's not God then it'll be something else. Money, women, "science", whatever. Humans are going to find something to worship no matter what those that claim they are "atheists" tell themselves. If they were honest they'd look at their lives and pick out what it is.

Women should not be in high risk jobs like police or fire. This is why. Do I like the credit bureau's? No. I think they're an unmitigated disaster that is not held accountable for their actions. They can fuck up your credit score and you have to sue them to actually get any movement in a decent time frame. Do I trust them more than I do the government? You're damn right, especially with communists in control of the government now. We already saw what they did with the IRS under Obama without as much control as they have now. This would be immeasurably worse.
They show patience until they think they have either won by corrupting and controlling enough systems or have been discovered and fear they will be removed. That's when they move quickly and recklessly to consolidate things.
They key words there are "over time." Yes, over time things will stabilize and their ability to manipulate goes down. That's not what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about something like the massive selloff and crash of the Great Depression a century ago where the plebs sold off as much as they could to get something back which led to a giant spiral downwards which, when it was over, left those with money able to scoop up massive gains and makes ridiculous profits from all the "worthless" stock they bought up as the market recovered.
The same thing is going to happen here. Bitcoin with start crashing, people will panic sell, and the rich will snicker and buy up the now utterly cheap coins in ridiculous quantities giving them more control than they otherwise would have had. Eventually enough time will have passed so that the common folk could buy back in at a fractional amount of what they could have had if they never sold off, but the damage is already done and the corrupt get what they wanted, and caused to happen, in the first place.
You already can be fired for that if your companies HR department is like a normal HR and stuffed full of karens and quota hires. The stories of what happens to guys in companies that the women working there don't like for whatever reason are downright terrifying.
