Joe DiGenova vouched for Barr on air, acting like he was the guy for the job and would get things done. Bet he feels like a jackass right about now. Makes me wonder if he should be trusted.

Maybe he realized these shitbags weren't going to do anything to begin with and prepared accordingly.

If it's going to have an everlasting effect on the voting system, and be historic in determining the POTUS then it better not be sitting on shaky ground when decision time comes.

Twitter is shit. Why people bother with it boggles the mind.

Militias will have to gather outside the polls to intercept all those mail in ballots.

Hypothetically, if Biden got in, you are going to see buyer's remorse from Democrat voters on a massive scale due to the economic disaster that will take place. All the boomers will get their retirements hit hard and the fallout will be hilarious to watch.

Then you'll have the left getting lip service and nothing more, as neo-liberal globalism is going to be back on the menu. Useless idiots will be left holding their dicks in their hands.

They talk about never getting another Republican elected, but I honestly would expect the Democrats to fracture as a party and the various splinter groups to start becoming antagonistic to each other. Neo-libs and leftists are not allies and will be playing a game of tug-o-war.

This is what happens with Biden sits on the fence and promises contradictory concessions to each side of the party.

So in the future any state can sue any other state over election results, without having to prove injury first? That's the precedent that would be set. Sounds like a complete nightmare.

Basically they could just be in gridlock lawsuits against other states without having to prove injury beforehand.

Pretty much. People seem to think it is Texas and other states just filing suit against the swing states because they are suspicious of the voter fraud and want those states to be dealt with at SCOTUS. Not exactly something that is going to go anywhere, especially when Texas hasn't exactly developed a case to show injury.

The most that could have come out of it if SCOTUS took the case is getting some evidence made public and then SCOTUS telling them that there is no injury to the state of Texas and thus nothing can be remedied.

Basically if DNC agents came over from Georgia and messed with elections in Texas, they'd have standing.

Was probably just an attempt to test the waters, see which way the wind is blowing, etc.

You are exactly right. Texas has to prove that what happened in these other states had an impact on the state of Texas. How the electoral fraud in Georgia or Michigan caused injury to Texas.

I think it was a better test to see who was willing to stand behind Trump more than a strong legal argument.

"Trust the plan" needs to die a quick death as a slogan.

This fight continues until we are no longer breathing. This isn't about only the next four years.

Play the long game and stop relying on the short game that always ends in failure at the most inopportune time.

Texas tried to claim that what took place in other states had an affect on them, thus they were the injured party in the suit. Do they have actual evidence of this?

They are basically claiming wrongdoing by other states without having demonstrated what it did to them as the plaintiff. This is why Thomas and Alito said that they would be willing to hear it but couldn't remedy it.

I think this was a roll of the dice to test the waters with SCOTUS.

Trump is slamming them to increase public pressure, plain and simple.

If it's about the Texas case then Trump wasn't actually listed as a plaintiff right? Claiming in that case that he was the one that suffered injury.
