If a “saint” went to hell and was incorrectly labelled a saint, and i ask them to pray for my dying grandmother, it is a square peg and a round hole: it is meaningless. The demon does not gain power or glory by being asked to pray since demons don’t and can not communicate with God on any terms but the ones God allows. My intention is pure and a demon cannot do good so it just doesn’t matter at all.

There is one problem though: priests won’t allow confession until you go through a full conversion including a year of RCIA classes. So they are inhibiting a would-be believer.
