Catching Wild Pigs
A thought to remember, Marx said, "Remove one freedom per generation and soon you will have no freedom and no one would have noticed."
There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class.
One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting Communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime.
In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.
The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food.
When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.
They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.
The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America & Canada. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.
One should always remember two truths:
- There is no such thing as a free lunch, and
- You can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.
If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America & Canada, you might want to share this with your friends.
If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably not share this.
BUT, God help us all when the gate slams shut!
Think about this:
Quote for today: "The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living."
The truth will prevail. More people than even we may realize see through all of this. The more we present the facts, the more people will see. My father in law, in his late 60's, barely knows how to use his cell phone, very non political. Even he knows details of the fraud.
We are all disappointed (other than those that still think that there is some grand plan behind all of this). Me personally, I felt the Texas SCOTUS case was the big play and when that failed there were little options left and that January 6th was always a long shot.
But, what we just went through (and really the past 4-5 years) was just the beginning of a great awakening. How many of us here were non-political before this. How many of us believed that while there may have been some bias in the media, that they were not out right lying to us. How many never noticed all the manipulation. How many never knew the details as to what our government was spending its money on. There are thousands and thousands of things I notice now that I never would have before. There are 10's of million of people that have been red pilled.
I love Trump, not because he is perfect, or some genius. He has plenty of faults. I loved that he pushed back. I loved that he exposed the system for what it was. I loved that he never gave up. I loved that he cared. I loved that his policies put America first. But he was just one man going against a system designed to crush outsiders. But because of him, there are now eyes wide open across the country.
He was not the end. He was the beginning.
I don't agree with everything he says and I never have, but the same goes for every single person. He's been the best (or at least the most prominent) voice in all of media for the entire Trump presidency. He called out Trump on things where he was clearly wrong (hiring John Bolton). And he has also been wrong himself (corona virus panic at the start). But he came around on that one and is now pushing the narrative. Now I wish he was fighting and going all in on the election fraud, but he's taking a measured critical approach to it. I'll take that any day over Tick Tock Hannity. Turning on people the second they don't believe everything we do is short sighted. Once this goes to the Supreme Court, and the full hand is revealed, I am confident he will be there on our side.
My opinion.
I mean I am sure it will go Biden, but come on now...
In Michigan none the less, have her father, mother and mother in law all voting Trump as well,
The fact that there is early voting happening already and mail in ballots sent to millions of people already, when there hasn't even been a debate yet in insane.
I can play all other recordings of his show, other shows, live TV, etc. But for some reason the recordings from last nights show all take a few minutes loading then says "No Internet Connection". On both mobile and at home. Just wondering if its just me or if there is a some effort to silence the episode.
